(Scene: A meadow near Noonvale)
Thymeye:( Smelling flowers around her) Ah spring! What a wonderful....
Oakleaf: Hi ya, Thymeye! Look what I brought for you! (Hands Thymeye a bouquet of Bluebell flowers)
Thymeye:(Takes the flowers and smiles) Thank-you, Oakleaf! They're lovely! (Looks suspicious) But that's not the only reason you came here. What is it?
Oakleaf: Weeeell, your Aunt Jarmythia sent you a letter by some bird named Kirbeak. I brought you the ltter.
Thymeye:(Reading letter) Yay! Aunt Jarmythia says I'm to go and stay with her at Redwall Abbey. You can come, too, Oakleaf.
Oakleaf: Really? You really want me to come?
Thymeye: Of course! I need a traveling partner and you don't think I'd leave you here in Noonvale all by yourself, now do you?
Oakleaf: No, I guess not. Shouldn't we tell our parents?
Thymeye: Naw, you know your parents AND my parents would say no to both of us going. Act like everything's normal tonight, then after everyone's asleep, we'll get provisions and other things, then leave. Sound good to you?
Oakleaf: Yup.
