He just hadn't even bothered to look at the clock, but now at her insisting, he cleared his throat and shifting to stand, shaking his head in mild protest. "No, no, I'm pretty much ready... Just give me a second." He wasn't a huge fan of the pre-party obligations, but he did want to go with her and he knew she wanted to hit all that sort of thing, so it only made sense to him that he would go with her.
