Subject: As his arms went around her, she let out a soft breath and let her own arms slide around him, her head going to rest on his chest gently as the water cascaded down around them. Once in awhile, though she would never admit it, it was nice to just be held in his arms, like it was years ago. Her cheek rested against the smooth muscle of his chest as her hand brushed absently over his back, her brow furrowed. It had been a rough couple of weeks and it was kind of nice to be back in the familiarity of his embrace. "Occasionally." She stated, her voice holding the same teasing tone as his had.

For then it was nice just to enjoy the moment, because he knew that in a matter of days things would be back to normal - the only times that they would have anything civil to say to each other would be in public, they would only touch when there were eyes to see them, and he would just go back to wondering why one of them didn't just call the whole thing off already.
