• She padded out of the bedroom, tipping her head to the side. It had been months since she had seen him but the days of hopping into his arms and wrapping her legs around his waist as she kissed him breathless were long gone. She could remember, when he first started going big, how heartbroken she had felt everytime she had to say goodbye to him but now it was just like nothing was changing when he left except she had to find a guy to entertain her a little more often. As usual, she looked amazing, even casual she was stunning - lost a couple more pounds since he last saw her but she was always fluctuating, usually pretty close to the 'dangerous' zone when her weight dropped. • "It's my new 'thing'." He informed her, as he shrugged off his hoodie - his black tee was clean'ish, atleast, and besides, he was on his way into the shower. It really wasn't anything new, actually - it just went with the profession. Most of the roadies were total junkies - as was one of his three bandmates, and one other used on occasion, the last was totally clean though and didn't even touch alcohol, and he was somewhere in the middle there - and so when they went days without sleeping, it was a no-no to shower as well. And washing clothes was a bit of a pain at times - most often he just bought new things rather than deal with laundry. "You look stunning, as always." She informed him, before she finally walked over to place a kiss to his cheek in greeting, one delicate, carefully manicured hand pushing back his hair before she shook her head. "The days of Grunge are long gone, I don't think you've realized that yet." She smiled lightly, before she took his hand and tugged gently heading towards the spacious, elaborate bathroom with its waterfall shower and all. "So, what are you up to doing tonight?" • He laughed outright at that, shaking his head a little - every once in a while, he dressed up for special occasions, but that was only with some serious ultimatums from the record execs about appearance, or to the occasional event with her. Drawing his shirt up over his head, he paused to finally kiss her cheek in turn - the lack of warmth in their greeting of each other gave a clear idea to the status of their relationship. "I'm up for anything. I don't sleep remember." That was a bit of an exaggeration, but it wasn't uncommon for him to go a couple days without sleeping, or to rest for only a couple hours a day. • She nodded a bit, pursing her lips. She generally liked to go somewhere where she would be seen, if there were camera's there, that was even better. "I am gonna go see if I have anything written down thats going on tonight, go ahead and start your shower....want me to join you a bit?" She questioned, already planning out their evening, where they could go and all that. She wasn't planning on anything to eat, so that sent out dinner but it was a friday night and she was sure there was some bash going on somewhere. It couldn't be to formal, Gavin wasn't fit for that right now, though he cleaned up very nicely, he wasn't going to tonight and she wasn't going to try and convince him too, she knew it was pointless. He responded, as if he was requesting a beer or something, as he stripped out of the remainders of his clothing and stepped beneath the stream of water - leaving her to plan out their evening while he washed away the past couple days of food and drugs and sweat and women. He trusted her to pick somewhere where he would have to get his picture taken, but he supposed he had enjoyed an evening away from the cameras and autographs - he was a celebrity not so suited to the status, but every once in a while he just bit the bullet and owned up to it. • She figured out a pretty big party that was going on down at the Calypsa before she headed over to the bathroom, stripping out of her shirt and then stepping out of the jeans before she pulled back the large glass door that closed off the shower area from the rest of the bathroom. It was an elaborate set up, with two shower head on either side hidden in faux rocks and then her personal favorite - the waterfall along wall that was perfect for soothing sore muscles. Quietly, she headed up behind him, her hands sliding up his well toned back before they curled around his shoulders, kneading for a second before her nails trailed his back softly,waiting, letting him make his move. • "Hey." He turned slowly to face her, pushing back her hair as he dipped his head to catch her lips for a brief but heated kiss. As his lips drifted slowly down her neck, he spoke again - his words almost drowned out by the water. "Rumor has it the McArthur kid drove his car into a tree or something." He and Ethan had attended the same boarding school their entire lives, and though they had been from different crowds - himself with the artsy kids, and Ethan with the jocks - they had discovered common ground every once in a while, and now were aquaintences of sorts. • She tipped her head back for his kisses, everything else had changed in their relationship, but honestly, his kisses still affected her like no one elses did. Her hand slid up to curl around his bicep before he spoke about Ethan. Her brow furrowed heavily, clearing her throat. "Yeah...yeah he had an accident from what the press release said." She wasn't to fond of talking about Ethan, another of those things that didn't set well with her if she started thinking about it to much.   • Her brow furrowed again before she shrugged, pursing her lips. "I really don't know." She was obviously uncomfortable talking about it so she just shifted to run her hands through his hair, grabbing a nearby shampoo bottle and pouring some in her hands to apply to his hair. A teasing smile played across her lips as she watched him. "This is good for split ends, you have a few." Most often, he just let things be - because he was hardly an angel when it came to fidelity, or infidelity in this case, but things that he heard... He just didn't want to be made a fool of, really, and if she fell, god forbid, in love, and ran off with some kid while he was touring Europe, well he would look like a bit of a fool. • She nodded, her jaw a little tense now but she continued with her lathering of his hair before she gently pushed him back to be under the waterfall, letting it rinse out. She didn't understand why he was pushing this about Ethan, she didn't even want to think about it, much less talk about it. It wasn't like she had forced herself on Ethan, he had wanted her even worse then she had wanted him. He made the decision to sleep with her, to cheat on his little blonde with the guitar, and then to drive his car into a tree. • He let it go then - he wasn't in the mood to argue, and he didn't really want to hear it right now if Ethan did mean something to her. "How've things been going with you?" He questioned after a long while of silence, and then shifted to turn up the 'hot' a bit in the shower - he preferred it borderline scalding. He figured he already knew the answer to that one - great, of course, as always - but it was polite to ask, right? Running his hands through his hair, he pulled her back close to him again. "Book me a cut tomorrow?" It was getting too long, and he wasn't on tour anymore so he didn't have any excuses - of course, on tour there were stylists and everything, but that was besides the point. He was quiet now, unsure what else to say to her, but his arms did slip slowly around her and he pulled her close to his chest, just letting the hot water soothe his tense muscles and wash away his sins of the months past. "Didja miss me?" His tone was mostly teasing, because he could guess the answer to that one quite easily. He found himself, right then, almost glad to be there though - as different as they were, and there lives were then, she was always there when he got back. Whether she had been true to him or not didn't matter because of his own infidelities, but the important thing was that she was alone and waiting when he got home. • As his arms went around her, she let out a soft breath and let her own arms slide around him, her head going to rest on his chest gently as the water cascaded down around them. Once in awhile, though she would never admit it, it was nice to just be held in his arms, like it was years ago. Her cheek rested against the smooth muscle of his chest as her hand brushed absently over his back, her brow furrowed. For then it was nice just to enjoy the moment, because he knew that in a matter of days things would be back to normal - the only times that they would have anything civil to say to each other would be in public, they would only touch when there were eyes to see them, and he would just go back to wondering why one of them didn't just call the whole thing off already. Her hand gently shifted after a few moments to get things started between them, shifting to caress him intimately as she let her tongue explore his mouth. He wasn't sure what they were going to be up to, but he was getting himself mentally prepared for the throngs of reporters that always seemed to frequent wherever she chose for them to go out...
