Subject: Since he didn't answer her, she just assumed he was still thinking about it. She just let out a soft breath and slowly relaxed into the bed and into his arms. It had been a long time since she had fallen asleep with his arms around her but she was about to now. She just wanted to be close to him right now, to take comfort in his embrace and knowing that he would want her above anyone else. Her chin lifted to allow her lips to brush his softly once again before she settled her head down on the curve of his arm, her eyes slowly sliding shut.

  • "Yeah, sure..." He agreed finally and offered a small smile before tightening his arms around her and ducking his face into her hair to inhale softly. He wasn't really tired - sleeping wasn't his thing - but he was content and comfortable to lie there with her as long as she wanted to. This was the story of their tumultuous relationship - they hurt each other, they fought, they made up, only to start all over again the very next day, or a few days from now maybe if they were lucky.
