The thought that popped into his mind at that very instant was that if this was so hard and hurt so much, maybe it was time to give up... But he couldn't bare to speak the words - it was hard enough just to be thinking them - so he just shook his head slowly. "Everything was easier back then though, Bianca... All our problems aren't going to disappear so simply..." And he worried what would happen to her if he wasn't around - not that he was around all the time now, and hell, maybe she'd be better off if he wasn't in her life, but he still hated that thought.
