It was hard maintaining a little bit of distance from him when he looked like he so desperately just wanted to be near her. Her lip tucked between her teeth at his touch on her face and then at his words before she sighed softly and stepped back into his arms, ducking her head underneath his chin as she wrapped her arms around him once more, holding onto him tightly as she closed her eyes. She had missed him desperately, a part of her wondering if he was going to come back to her or if he was just done with her now. He would be clean and maybe he would want a fresh start from his past....which included her. She bit her lip a little as she held onto him quietly, just wanting to be close to him.
