"Controlling it," he said seamlessly, his ears pricked towards her. "Where did you come from anyway? Are you new here?" He asks suspiciously, dark eyes, now thoughtful, narrowing. Stopping his anxious fidgiting, his boisterous self-confidence is almost palpable around him, as if he were saying, wanna make something of it, punk?
