Scarlet smiled back in answer. Tira morphed into a bengal tiger cub, then into a possum, before morphing into a homely cat. He purred throatily and pawed at Scarlet's gown, asking to be picked up. Laughing, Scarlet obliged and bent down to pick her daemon up. "Tira's horribly excited now," she quipped, smiling amusedly. "He only morphs in rapid succession when he's anxiously excited." She stroked Tira's autumn-colored back and whispered to him - "Calm down, Tira."
