Dalamar let her snuggle against him, keeping still as she rested against him so as not to wake her. He glanced around out of habit. He was used to checking the area where he slept to see if anyone was waiting for him to sleep, as the other elves had so many times. Then he remembered that he didn't have to worry about that here. He settled back against the tree, his arm still around Glifinial. He kissed her lightly on the cheek and then closed his eyes to try to sleep, letting all the events of the previous day wash over him.
