see, i think this just about everyday. i am in an environment where it is very rigid and structured. (i am just a fish out of water). i just don't get it!!!! i guess i just have to accept the fact that people are indoctrinated in their belief system about this society and that this informs the value they put on conformity. this is a conformist society. be well dressed (according to latest fashion trends), have a good job, get a house, go to church, believe this, say that, wear a suit and tie.

"people just don't delve deep enough into anything or question anything...they just accept, like sheep"

well there you have it. in a nutshell. and why is this i ask you? darned if i can figure it out. it doesn't have to do with intelligence. what is this deep seated need to travel with the herd, and why don't i have it and never have? and you, and everybody else here. i guess my life could be more comfortable...but would i be thinking?

well judy, you have some insightful comments that have made me think (and rant LOL!). too bad the questions i ask probably don't have good answers. i guess the best thing is to relax about it all and converse with like minds. i'm glad you guys are here!
