But you see it's sufficient that their writings betray erroneous beliefs regarding rudimentary scientific facts. Geocentrism is just such an error.

To suggest that the Vedics missed heliocentrism but somehow otherwise saw to the deepest core of empirical reality - beyond even today's science! - is like suggesting that someone who can neither add nor subtract nonetheless solved, say, the problem of the linear independence of exponential functions.
