The total lack of verbal flattery by the brown earns him a shrill scolding as Korea continues in a fairly linear course, simply racing the males for the time being and slightly frustrated at their speed. But then, the gold hasn't had too much time to fly lately, having been running so many errands.

Luminous orbs whirl, the sunlight sparkling off them like a many-faceted pair of diamonds. Korea lets out a taunting warble and begins to swerve easily, side to side, watching Banji cut Buck off, then Vey copy Banji's moves and cut the other bronze off. She's almost amused at the atmosphere of competition and rivalry.

Her thoughts are fairly coherent for being in a mating lust. The brown's endurance and speed is amazing, especially for one of his color. Banji's intricate moves and sweet song are tempting to accept, and Vey's... well, Vey's flashy dives and close proximity are almost equally tempting.

However, Korea is not yet ready to relinquish her mastery of the air. With a surge of sheer power, the gold flings her lithe body into a thermal and abruptly changes course, whirling around her three pursuers and taunting them with her closeness -- but she is still unattainable, her energy too high and arrogance too thick to let herself be caught. The queen's glorious flight takes her high upon a thermal, momentarily distanced from her consorts. With a brassy cry, she begins the last dive that she'll make for this flight, wings streamlined and golden body so fast as to be a mere blur.
