X stood in wait, armor attachments glistening. /Ryujin, old friend. Repair yourself, and be well. I'll deal with these monsters myself untill then.../

Scanners indicated the energy source on the horizon. The Reploid was a shiny red, and X's eyes narrowed behind the visor. His hand gripped on the beam saber, and his lips pulled back into a snarl.

/This one is for you, Ryujin.../

He began to charge towards the approaching Reploid. Beam saber drawn back, he had been ready for battle. Just then, the door slammed open, and a fimiliar figure had ran out, screaming his name.

X twirled, not letting his guard drop from the oncomming danger. It was...RYUJIN?!

"RYUJIN!" X yelled to him, but then turned as his helmet located danger. He twirled the saber up, just as a green white blade appeared after the snap-hiss of the saber turned on. Lightning sparked from the two clashing blades.

Ryujin stepped back, and nodded silently. /Don't worry X. I won't let you die alone.../
