(Okay....here we go!)
"Dr. Wily. Everything is as you have requested. Mega Man is in our custody right now." Knight Man said into the com's microphone. Dr. Wily nodded. "Good. Leave him there. Watch over him constantly. Do not let him move an inch! Let no one but me come there!"
"As you command.", Knight Man bowed.
"I need to spend a few more days here before I can return to you on Base-W. I have an....errand to take care of. In the meanwhile, I want you to disconnect the power feeds from the spires. Likely they have drawn attention by now."
"Sir, if we cut the power feed, won't that-", Knight Man started to ask. Dr. Wily cut him off, "Flash Man has installed generators. The station should be self sufficient.
I no longer need the spires. Signal the EVAC codes to any of my bots, and trigger the self destructs. I don't care about the spires anymore. They have become too expensive to maintain. Especially since I rediscovered the EVIL ENERGY."
"I still don't believe that you choose to work without the power of the energy sir.", Knight Man replied.
"Believe what you want to. But that energy is like a parasite. It fed off my mind, but it would have made me a slave to its power. I was glad to be rid of it when I learned that. I want my revenge to be solely from my own actions, not from something so hollow."
"You've changed sir.",Knight Man told him. "You have purpose now." He added.
"Yes. My purpose is to look to the future. My legacy is all that matters now. My last creation....My masterpiece. That is all that I care about. That, and destroying Mega Man."
The comm-link shut down. Knight Man had come to Base-W per Wily's orders. Mega Man had been taken there, and stripped of his armor, and weapons. His inner workings were exposed. Wires were hooked up to him in all manner of places. He was clamped down to the table, and could not move, or speak.
Wily had one thing left to do before he got there. He was going to hide Zero. He had just completed the capsule in which Zero was supposed to rest in for the next few decades.
After Zero was hidden away safe, the Dr. would go to the moon. But then....a thought occured to him. Why not take Zero with him? Maybe he would test Zero against Mega Man?
Why not? He could at least see if Zero was stronger. Afterall, Zero did beat up that fool Ryujin X, did he not?
Wily would have to think about it. (to be continued)
