(Maybe this will help ease the confusion...)
"Dr. Light what is it?", Roll asked. Why had he had come into the control center just now? He was shaking....cold sweat made his night clothes stick to him. Two in the morning! It was 2 in the morning, yet he had awoke screaming, and stumbled in here.
"I...I had the most horrible nightmare!", he cried.
"What is it doc? What did you see?", Roll tried to comfort him. He was shaken up pretty badly.
"I was having this dream...but I wasn't me, I was Mega Man. I couldn't see anything, I couldn't speak, or move, but I could hear."
"What does that mean?", Roll asked intently.
"I...don't know. But there was more. One of Wily's bots came in the room. It was Quick Man I think...he loomed over me -Mega Man, and almost finished me off. Flash Man came in, and saved me."
"Flash Man? But why would he do that?", she asked again.
"Well, it wasn't because he cared or anything... it was because he didn't want Quick Man to have the honor."
"And that was your dream?", Roll inquired.
"Yes.", Dr. Light replied. He exhaled heavilly.
"Then why did you wake up screaming?", she asked.
"Because I feel that Mega Man is in grave danger."
"Well, all dreams mean something... could this be?"
"A vision -of the future?", Light asked skeptically.
"Or...the future of your fears! Whether or not this has actually happened right now, your worst fears can combine with other elements in a dream, and become what you think is a real forgleam of the future!"
"Are you sure?", Light asked. "It felt so real..."
"Well, one thing is for sure Doc. It is a mystery, but it is one that will be revealed in the course of time.", Roll replied. Dr. Light warned her, "...Time is the ONE thing we do not have!" (to be continued)
