Howdy Tiffany;

For the sake of argument, suppose that I did smoke ganja every day that I was in Vietnam. What would anybody do about it? Stick me in the infantry and send me to Vietnam? Oops, that was already my situation anyway. Bust me, pull me out of the field, and put me in LBJ (Long Binh Jail) in a reasonably safe environment with three hots and a cot? I would have gone for that just to get some sleep and get off the line for awhile. Give me an Article 15 and dock my pay? Ouch, that would have hurt, but I was only being paid $250/mo. to risk my life every day and I could have coped with a fine although it would have been lousy for my moral and motivation. Nobody messes with the infantry except the enemy.
