It was sort of amusing reading your story. I have never read a war story quite like this. The ones in the book, �The Things They Carried,� O�Brien mostly talks about violence. The things they went through and how they dealt with pain. He expresses how messed up war is but how it�s also beautiful at the same time. Reading it is sometimes hard because the violence is hard to belive or digests. I liked your story for some reason. I can�t put my finger on it. Thanks for your willingness to share your memories with my generation. I hope that we never forget the past because I think that it is full of precious memories.
