the information can be found at many websites but this is
NOT what I do.
I consider that a bird with clipped wings is NOT safe from
hawks and owls-or even other poultry.
The better alternative is to
COVER THE PEN WITH WIRE.
My peafowls have secure pens attached to coops or with
rain shelter that has perches.

I have freerange peafowl - if your's are going to be free please don't clip their wings - they will be easy prey for foxes... etc - even domestic dogs. Also they will need to fly up to their roost at night? Feed them little and often in the area you want them to stay in.
