heee okie wanted to wait for more people to reply to the philosophical qns but realised tat only jieying, weihua, yas, qi n me will come to this board. since yas n jy oreadi replied, tat makes it a 20% response rate! hahaha

ok here it goes.......
a falling tree makes sound waves but not sound. sounds are what our brain perceive sound waves to be. they are defined as internal representations of the world. without our brain to perceive the incomin sound waves, there is no sound. unless, we are at the forest to hear the sound waves the fallin tree makes, there is technically no sound.

tats what i learnt in my biological psychology class. interesting, isnt it?

i am now reading a book entitled Science of Harry Potter. it discusses the feasibility of floo powder, portkey, nimbus 2000 and all the magical phenomenon. and also how us muggles have managed to develop stuff close to wat the wizards have done.
shall share with u all some stuff when i got the xian qing to type them out.
