Guess what? What a "Romantic" Valentines Day I had...

Had been sick for close to two weeks, with flu and fever (which doesn't seem to go down)... N on Sun night, the fever was so high that my mum sent me to SGH. So there I was at the A&E, being wheelchaired around, and needles poked into me... the doctor suspected it to be dengue... so they kept me at the observation ward for 2 hours (and gosh the feeling was terrifying!!)

luckily it wasn't dengue but an infection of the nose that caused all the problem...

now still feeling limp....but... i haven't kicked the bucket yet... hopefully i'll survive school tomorrow....

i am oso enrichin myself. i am reading this thick book. very heavy. hahaha in terms of materials discussed n also the physical weight.

it is about nature vs nurture. how alot of distinguished scientists n scholars disregarded the overwhelming evidence yielded from the field of evolutionary studies simply becos of the strongly held beliefs that acknowledging the existence of human nature will imply justifying crimes like genocide for example.

it is damn interesting!! cos this book doesnt juz give u the facts. it discussed the facts with u n the implications n it actually shares alot of gossips too!! cos it is a scholarly rebuttal to the other scientists. damn funny hw the author dug out the dirts about the sceptics.

go borrow from library if u gers r interested

working lah........ very lazy these days, hols mood so no mood to work hard...... hai...... how how how?
I went Bar None on Friday. Initially we wanted to go China Black but after queing for some time, my colleagues decided that the crowd looks too young so we had a change of venue. They have a live band in Bar None which is quite good and have a cute guitarist or base player. But it is quite hard to dance to band music cos you tend to stop, stand ard, look at them and sing along instead. They play at intervals so you dance at the no live band time. The ppl are older working class type and more expats. I must be one of the youngest ppl there hahaha........
Then sat went high tea at Goodwood park hotel, quite good and then stone at a BBQ organised by my customer until like 11 plus then went coffee at HV.
Sunday went Mamamia with Jieying. Very nice show, i like the songs and the ending. We are definitly going to see Phantom and Le mis in Europe. Then bought maggie's birthday present and manage to get home without spending more money.
Going to sign up for my Yoga Class next week. It is the HOT Yoga, new in Singapore. So looking forward to a healthy and trimmer me!!! Thats my christmas present to myself i guess hhehehe.......
Yes thats my weekend. Have not decide on anything this weekend......Think will just hang ard home, go gym (haven been there for ages), or does anyone have suggestions? The weekend after next will be going KL! My colleague just came back from KL with 5 pairs of shoes!!! I may buy a couple of open toes heels and working shoes. Most of my casual shoes now are flats and you always need more working shoes since i wear everyday. But other then that dont expect any big spending. Think it will be more of an eating trip.

most jews follow this religion Judaism. it is kind of similar to Christianity as they believe in Moses too. The Jews v poor thing. Their holy temple in Jerusalem had been destroyed n rebuilt, destroyed n rebuilt (by Romans, Egyptians n dunno who) until nw i dunno if still standing there.

The term Jews does not equate believers of Judaism. Jews is more like an ethnic identity.

Jews are always in exile from their homeland (but the book i was reading at home din mention where their homeland was) This is why u can find Jews scattered all over.

The thing about Jerusalem is that it is considered a holy city by three main religions: Christianity, Judaism n Islam.

Jews r also persecuted by Christians n Arabs n Muslims.

CHristians: Jews claimed to b the chosen people by GOD n Christians r buay song abt this. Jews r also seen as the one who caused the death of Jesus (weird argument cos Jesus was supposed to die for our sins wat)

Arabs: mostly political conflict

Nazi: Hitler saw the Jews as racial enemies. (though i dunno why Hitler wanted to focus on the Jews out of so many races)

Russia: Although many of Russia's revolutionary leaders were Jews, they were opposive to traditional Jewish culture n beliefs. This was in sync with Russia's anti-religion policy. Like how most communist countries do not tolerate religions.

yes jy, i sent u tat link. actually i din try anything from that site at all yet. hahha i forgot abt tat site. the url was in my old laptop.

anyway i spent 20 bucks in ntuc for my grocery shopping! well actually the ingredients not so ex cos i bought shaving blades for smooth legs. heheee

all the dishes i mentioned went well!! my mum loves them but she said i very slow in cookin. i started preparing at 6pm n only got dinner started at 8pm! hahaha but i took pain to slowly shred ginger n dice all the colorful yellow pepper, water chestnut, mushrooms, carrots. my dishes look so colorful.

except for one screw up: fried chicken wings. my dad bought some cos he knew i am comin back to cook so he went marketing too! hahaa so i marinated the chicken wings in soy sauce n onions. surprisingly nice leh. too bad, the pan i am using is not non-stick n totally spoilt the browned skin of the wings..... *sobsob*

suan mei with steamed fish sounds gd!! mayb will try next time round.

i got the name for the oyster mushroom wrong. cozi said it is abalone mushroom. i dunno. heheee but it is those fan like big big mushroom.

very proud of myself. even though my bro din give face to come back to eat. my dad was like 'yeah there r leftovers' he wans to keep them n then heat up for dinner tonite cos the porridge he cooks r tasteless!! he is totally hopeless when it comes to cooking. his idea of cookin is to throw everything into a pot of noodles or porridge with no condiments added!!! yeeeeewww....

i wanted to come back hall after dinner but then i started watchin tv. first, charmed on 5 then the mighty in-laws (with zoe tay: this is a damn funny show!! quite nice to see caldecott queen swearin n acting convincingly ah lian).

as the title suggest, i'm zooming right into mun's last sentence and hereby attach the link that someone (think it might have been mun yourself!!!!!!!!!!!) once send me:

http://www.makantime.com/

click on the mum's recipes at the bottom of the left hand corner, i particularly like that though i haven't tried anything on it hahaha.. but it sure felt good looking at those stuff when i was in sydney... *drool*

anyway since u wan to cook "healthy wholesome meals", i dun think i'm the right person to consult wahahahaha.. but lets see..

1) steamed fish with mushroom n bamboo shoots
i dun quite think u need to bother with bamboo shoots? i dunno if tt actually adds much taste.. maybe look prettier.. but i lurrveeee my mum's steam fish with xian cai, chili, shitake mushroom, ginger (i think), everything slice thinly and lay on top of fish, with some water and steam for like 10-15 mins, depending on how u cut the fish. can even add a suan mei if u wan. my mum do tt. or just team it with black bean and fried shallots. yum! personally, i have never done it before though HAHAHAHHAA. as for ingredients.. the stuff r not tt exp i would think, except for the fish. bamboo shoot can one shld be quite cheap too.. then is shitake mushroom i guess...

2) stir fry diced chicken with water chestnuts
u can never go wrong with diced chicken. but water chestnut is a very 'restaurant' thing.. i personally dun like it in my food but i guess all this fry chicken stuff goes well with the red and green pepper. but dunno how exp r those.......

3) spicy tofu with veggies
yeah yeah very cheap one! though spicy veg?

4) veggies with oyster mushroom
dunno wats oyster mushroom.. but anyway veg shld be all good!

my two cents worth. hahahah.. oh i tried to cook for myself and got diarrhoea within 1 hour. i figure it can't be my food cos it does take more than 1 hour to digest DOESN'T IT??!?!! think it's stomach flu cos i was diarrhoea-ing even at 2am last nite! *groan*

as for the israel-palestine issue, i'm too lazy to comment, though i read thru xiaoqi's bit. hrmp, doesn't sound too much in arab's favour either. basically it seems like jews r kicked ard everywhere, then finally someone (though u may call them KPO) decided to be the nice guy and give them a place they can call their own, then b'cos it's in arab areas, the arabs decide they can't have jews on their precious land, so they wan to kick them out! "and fear of Jewish domination was the principal cause of an Arab revolt (1936-1939)" quote from xiaoqi's. hrmp. i stil think the jews very poor thing.. hehehehe..

Hi all,

More and more on middle east. I find mun's orginal explanation a trife extreme and seems to side the Jews really. From these paragraphs below, seems that Palestine has been occupied by various religions, muslim and jews during different period of time so i dont think it is as mun said that nobody else stay there before. Afterall Jerusalam is a Holy place for both the Jews and Muslim.
----------------------------------------------------
The Canaanites were the earliest known inhabitants of Palestine (3rd millennium BC). Egypt was the first adjacent power to conquer the region (3rd millennium BC). During the 2nd millennium BC Egyptian hegemony and Canaanite autonomy were challenged by various invaders. However, these invaders were defeated by the Egyptians and absorbed by the Canaanites. As Egyptian power began to weaken after the 14th century BC, new invaders appeared: the Hebrews (Semitic tribes from Mesopotamia) and the Philistines (an Aegean people of Indo-European stock).

The Israelites, a confederation of Hebrew tribes, defeated the Canaanites about 1125 BC but were defeated by the Philistines about 1050 BC. The Israelites united for protection, and their king, David, finally defeated the Philistines after 1000 BC. David established a state, with its capital at Jerusalem. In 722 BC the new state fell to Assyria, and Judah was conquered in 586 BC by Babylonia, which destroyed Jerusalem and exiled most of the Jews.

When Cyrus the Great of Persia conquered Babylonia in 539 BC, he permitted the exiled Jews to return to Judea, a district of Palestine. Persian domination was replaced by Greek rule under Alexander the Great in 333 BC. Alexander was succeeded by the Ptolemies of Egypt and the Seleucids of Syria. In the 2nd century BC the Jews revolted and set up an independent state (141-63 BC) until Pompey the Great conquered Palestine for Rome.

Roman emperor Constantine legalized Christianity in AD 313, and Palestine became a focus of Christian pilgrimage. Roman rule ended when Muslim Arab armies regain Palestine and captured Jerusalem in AD 638. This conquest began 1300 years of Muslim presence. Palestine flourished during the first Muslim dynasty, but when power shifted to Baghdad in 750, Palestine became neglected. The region suffered successive domination by Seljuks, Fatimids, and European Crusaders and Ottoman.
---------------------------------------------------------

Eventually seems like it is the British that KPO and promised everything to everyone.

----------------------------------------------------------
Aided by Arabs, the British captured Palestine from the Ottomans in the winter of 1917 and 1918. In return for their help, the British had promised the Arabs independence. However, Britain had also promised France and Russia that it would divide the region with its allies, and had promised the Jews a national home in Palestine for their help. This last promise was incorporated in a mandate conferred on Britain by the League of Nations in 1922.

The British found their promises to the Jews and Arab Palestinians difficult to reconcile. After 1928, when Jewish immigration increased, British policy on the subject seesawed under conflicting pressures. Immigration rose sharply after the installation of the Nazi regime in Germany in 1933, and fear of Jewish domination was the principal cause of an Arab revolt (1936-1939).

its history is very confusing....

Palestine is still not considered a state. The boundaries actually covered what is known as Gaza Strip and West Bank.

http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0776421.html
for the map

The region was actually ruled by Christians and Muslims alternatively. After World War 1, the area (Jordan, Israel n West Bank) was ceded to the Brits as part of a treaty with Turkey (they used to rule over the area but lost the WW1).

The Brits initially proposed assigning an area to the JEwish (Palestine). Cos no one except the Jews have stayed in the area before. So the Brits wanted the area to be the national homeland of the JEws. So the Jews moved throughout the entire area n started to build the infrastructure. With ample opportunities in the region, alot of Arabs moved in as well. However, the Brits apparently did not keep their word n divided the area into two parts: Jewish n Arabic. So wat was originally entirely Jewish became shared between the Jews n Arabs. But the the Arabs want to drive away the Jews totally from their area.

Then finally, the Jewish decided to declare their own state of Israel. But then, Israel was soon invaded by the Arabs (Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Yemen). But then, Israel managed to hold onto their grounds.

However, now it gets abit messy. Palestinians no longer refer to the Jews (read the last few para for why i said this). The formation of Palestine Liberation ORganisation (PLO)actually is made up of Arabs to fight against Israel's take over of wat is actually rightfully Israeli Jews. A series of negotiation took place n Israel agreed to leave some areas to the newly formed Palestine Authority (PA) with Yasser Arafat as the leader.

But, Israel and PLO continued to fight n fight over the rightful ownership of the areas. Becos Arafat insisted on an area of East Jerusalem to be the captial city of Palestine. Neither sides wanna budge so violence ensues.

"The Middle East war is not now and never was a conflict between Israelis/Jews on the one hand and Palestinians on the other. In fact, the Arab-"Palestinians", while currently the perpetrators of most of the anti-Jewish atrocities, were never a very important part of the conflict. In fact, before about 1970, virtually no one in the world considered the Middle East conflict to be one between Israelis and Palestinians.

The term "Palestinian" itself had referred to Israeli Jews back in the 1940s, and had been slowly deconstructed and redefined to refer to the Arabs in the West Bank and Gaza. The Middle East Conflict was always a war by Arabs against Jews, not a conflict between Israelis and "Palestinians." The war was repackaged as a conflict between Jews and Palestinians as a public relations gimmick by the Arab fascist regimes. These regimes had never had any interest in "Palestinians," in creating a "Palestinian" state, or in "Palestinian nationalism" before 1967. That is because Palestinian nationalism did not and DOES NOT exist. The Palestinians were a regional group of Arabs having virtually no cultural nor national distinctive traits separating them from Syrians, Lebanese, and Jordanians. They are all basically Arabs!.

The bulk of what are called "Palestinian Arabs" are members of families who migrated into the Land of Israel beginning in the late 19th century. Palestinian nationalism is a mislabeling of Arab nationalism. Arab nationalism exists, although it is closely bound up with Islamic nationalism and even Islamism. Palestinian nationalism, however, is a phantom. It is nothing more than genocidal hatred of Jews!

The Arab assaults and aggressions against Israel in 1948, 1956, 1967, 1968, and 1973 had nothing to do with Palestinians. The Palestinian terror campaign would itself be easy to suppress today and eradicate if the Middle East conflict were really a Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Israel would simply obliterate the terrorists and expel their supporters to Syria and Lebanon. The Middle East war continues because it is really an Arab-Israeli war, not an Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It is also in large part a war between barbarism and civilization. In many ways an Islamic religious jihad against the Jews."

bleah, wow, i wanna do the quiz too! ani links? sighz... i think i got myself into another tangle... i told a quite close guy i have known for a year abt the married man who asked me the qns. la kopi wif him juz now, la until mt fabar, in the end he brought the qns up to me... (kao, i tot there is pantonic frenship in this world, i used to la kopi wif him in coffee bean last time the entire year once a mth or so)

bleah, i never know im quite a gd catch too ha *looking at myself in the mirror*. i gave him a satisfactory ans dat i think i shd tell the other guy too:

-"do i have a chance?"
i do not wish to break for another guy, coz i will break oni when i feel the r/s is beyond hope

-"wat u think of me?"
i do nt wan to think where i have feelings for u or nt coz i have treated u as a fren last time, n im attached now, so there is no pt to think whether i am keen in u or nt

-"can we still meet up"
meeting up wise, coffee bean or crowded areas still acceptable (for clsoer frens) for catching up oni after a long time; no mt faber now tat i know the intention. it is very disrespectful for my current bf, and im sure u dunwanna see me wif another guy at mt faber if im ur gf.

this guy is on the rocks wif his gf (he has been telling me that sicne a year ago.)y do i oni attract married/attached guys...belah bleah....

You are a XPIG--Expressive Practical Intellectual Giver. This makes you a Catch.

You are a magazine-cover, matinee idol dreamboat. Parents love you and want to set you up with their kids. However, first dates are tough because it takes time for your qualities to come out.

You are generous and kind. " You think first and act later. You are cool in a conflict, but your practical side means if your partner throws out emotional appeals ("why can't we do what I want for a change?") they will grate on your nerves, even when the conflict is resolved."

You're a romantic. You enjoy the thrill of the hunt, and you don't just fall into bed with anyone. You pay close attention to your significant other's needs, and this makes you an excellent lover and partner. The problem is that your friends and lovers may find it so easy to express things to *you* that they lose sight of whether you feel as comfortable with *them*! This doesn't necessarily make you feel under-appreciated -- you're too well-adjusted and self-aware for that -- but you may feel restless. Thus you seek adventure in your life outside the relationship to prove and actualize yourself.

Of all the types, you would make the best parent.

You are coiffed.

Didja see "Big Fish"? 'Cause you're like Ewan MacGregor in "Big Fish."

Of the 148401 people who have taken this quiz, 9.3 % are this type.

Hahaha,so i am a great catch. And the third paragraph i put in brackets is especially true. I am quite restless and of cos i dont go to bed with just anyway. But the good partner part...... a bit doubtful.....

Ha, agreed to mun. thou my family anit capable of giving me much direct support, they had given me other kinds of attention and concern which i appreciated. I heard of some ridiculous familes which nt even gave discouragements but troubles for their children.

yup, it is true that no matter watz, our families will still b there, a safety shelter for us 24hr 7days per week. but most of the time, we have to pillar ourselves, solve our own problems, work our way through. This is the way we grow up, else with much support, i do not see i can go aniwhere far (check out my sis)

well, as the world still revolutes, our problems still force us to counter each day, our experiences add to our strength of life. In the meanwhile, we have to live our lives to the fullest and happiest, nt wasting any moment of life to worsen us.

Im gald i have this family too. my dad keep encouraging me to take my time in looking for a job the past mths; my mum bugged but never push me in doing house work all the while im at home. my sis and bro did gave me 1-2 warm gestures once a blue moon. i guess god is fair, i may not have a worse off family dan u all :P they r nice in their way.(thou i didnt find much pillar from them still ha)

dear dear

you may feel that your family is abit dysfunctional and is not like how the ideal family is like. true, it may not be such a rosy situation as how the rest of us are with our family.

like jy who is v close to her family. i am sort of close to my mum but i dun tell her mimi, not like jy who can confide in her mum in almost everything. there r so many people out there who do not enjoy a close relationship with their parents.

u may feel that your family do not support u emotionally or financially. but then, who is the one who see that you receive a proper education? emmm i dunno if u paid your nus sch fees with cpf or wat but most prob, your parents r working hard to support yr education.

i do agree tat your mum is abit extreme when it comes to your sis but tat doesnt mean tat she dun care about you at all.

your family can become your pillar of support though u might not see the possibility of it happening in the near future. but when crisis really happens, your family is the only people who wont leave you.

saddening view. to me, friends are undeniably a great source of support. but the pragmatic side of me tells me tat u cant really rely on your friends thoroughly. they have their own lives n families. at the end of the day, only your own family will be the remaining ones standing beside you thru thick n thin.

hua, i tink i can safely say tat i understand how u feel with all that conflicts in your family. but pls pls dun give up on them. they r still your pillars of support in life, juz tat they show in different manners.

i may not go to my family when i encountered relationship problems or when i juz feel down. but i do noe one thing for sure. i can always fall back on them if i want to open my hearts to them.

I tot i used to know y i am on this earth: exceling in results, eca, knowing more frens, being nice to my family (which i hardly do that). These objectives suddenly do not make sense to me now, at all. All the things that we strived for over the years, the goals taht motivated us through the long period of studenthood has disappeared. Now, all that we are left are the goals of unknown. Unknowning what goals we shd set this time, and wat is the point of being in this world at all.

have you wondered did we encountered this phrase of life when we started our primary education? The period of searching for a purpose in life during that journey of our life?perharps we are too shallow then to ponder deep. we brought our bags to schools aimlessly, doing wat every1 else was doing. it was not until a few years later in upper primary that i started to be couscious of any purpose in life.

perharps we are once again in the phase of unconscious, doing wat everyone is doing aimlessly, waiting for our purpose to find us in near future. hope by then, we all start gaining oursleves back, become stronger, better and chioer! ha

im gald all of u treasure ur familes this much. I hope i do too, but my family isnt the pillar of support that hold me on. they each are as weak and isolated, i wouldnt b surprised if some stranger at the streets doubt our kindship when he saw my family "walking" together. All these years no one provided another much of a support, except an occasional word of advice or concern. I have learnt, well, i would say i have never learnt, how to concern any of my family members. So girls, it is very important to enforce strong family values to your future familes! do not neglect that!

i would say i have grown up with minimal emotional and physchological support from my family, but frens did pillared me through my entrie life. That is y, it is U that is very important to me! throgh all the years of rain and shine, i have ironically learnt to appreciate care from those not related to me, yet nelgect those whom are bonded to me. yet from this way, i have cultivated a way of growing strong in this different kind of mentality.

it is time to teach my family some family-values. but are they willing to unlearnt their "old concept" and accept that family should b pillars of tehir life? i gave up hope on some of them.

I guess i have lost my foot a little, forgot some of my past, how i grew strong and purposeful like the last times. i seach for my soul which ran off a little, may we all pillar each other up thr this "identity crsis" and grow strong together

abt the dim sum... still onz on 15th los, how abt i treat the rest of u (except mun) to da dong! dan i treat 15th again espw if mun at thomson kipitiam? set ar!

as we go thru different phase in life, we are hit by these mind boggling questions. like wat i'm reading in "sophie's world" now, the first question the philosopher asked was: "who are you?"

it comes down to a bad case of identity crisis. we lost direction in life, or more importantly, we forgot wats our aim and our goal in life, or if we do have an aim or goal, we wonder, whats the point of having that goal in the first place? is it all worth it in the end? what really matters? career, love, family, friends, money? self development?

i have always prided my family on being a very close knitted one. like the test mun just gave me (dear, i hope at least a few of my friends responded? i told them to email u directly) it drawn on me tt often, our family r the one we turn to when we r down, when we needed someone to show them they love us, and to assure us of our worth. of cos i can't leave out the financial factor ;p but i must say tt as we grow up, we are slowly realising how powerful this love is, and how much we shld treasure it. it's never too late, like wat mun said (in her blog?) better late than never! it's part of this self learning process we r putting ourselves thru, and it's especially tested when we meet big changes or crisis in life. most importantly, it is to emerge a stronger and better person, and to not look back with regrets.

ah. working. tts of cos a big step from what we used to be. we r shaken out of our usual routine, and thrown into sth we cannot comprehend. so sink or swim! the way i c it, one cannot have too much expectations, but it's like a slow self learning process.. we realise what we want in life, what we are good at, and what we should do to get the best combination.

ah i'm drifting. cannot think properly. too lazy.

in any case, yas, i hope u r feeling better now, u have shown great strength in the last one and a half year but shld u ever need us, we will always be here for u!!! hugz!

on another note....

hua, look like mun very busy.. lets do it without her! MUAHAHAHAHHAHA

Yas

*copied from my blog and friendster*
Dearest friends,

Many thanks to those who came for my Dad's
wake from 22/10/2004 to 24/10/2004.

My Dad left all of us peacefully on 21/10/2004 at
11.57pm, in Assisi Hospice. That night, my
brother and I stayed by his bedside, held his
hands and watched him take his last breath. He
died with a smile on his face - one that I have not
seen for a long, long time since his illness (rectal
cancer).

The past one and a half years have been a painful
and exhausting experience. However, I think I'm
still fortunate, for I have been given the opportunity
to show, and tell my Dad my love. Prior to his
illness, I was never close to my Dad - I've always
regarded him to be a very stern person, and did
not even dare to talk to him. It was only when my
Dad was diagnosed with cancer, then I made the
effort to get to know him better. And I'm grateful to
be given the chance to get closer to my Dad
before he left us.

I'll never forget what my Dad said to us during his
last few days - "I love all of you and will always live
in your hearts." I guess I never realise how
important my Dad is to me, until he left us. And it
hurts terribly to know that he is no longer by our
sides. So do treasure those who are close to you
and never ever take them for granted. For life can
be so vulnerable and unpredictable...

Once again, I thank all of you for your kindness,
your words of encouragement, concern and
support. Thank you so much and take good care
of yourselves.

Love,
Yasmine

*My Dad's ashes will be cast into the sea
tomorrow, where he is finally free from all
sufferings and pains... *

i'm meeting qi for dinner at tiong bahru tmrw, cos she's having course there till 7pm and we tot to check out tiong bahru market. there is bus 33 there, which stops right in front of my busstop, and tiong bahru mrt station is damn near me, so i doubt i will take cab! after all tiong bahru market (or tiong bahru plaza for tt matters!) is not the type of place to hang out so late till u wanna catch a cab!! very broke these days lahhhhh

i'm going home this weekend. so cannot eat dimsum unless sunday nite again. but got monday blues lahh so better not. but then again saturdays usually everyone also busy.. hrmpp.. u all see how lor! let me noe. after all the other time i go geylang eat, is also sunday nite, with the usual "uncles" grp.

and no thks, salsa already too hot for me, still wanna do "erotic" dancing. u best lor! jazz still the most simple and fun :p can i learn some "disco moves" so i dun look like a block of stone when on the dance floor (if i ever get there?)

contiki tour to europe.. check out the website lah (www.contiki.com.sg)! but remember it's ONLY land tour. i think a 15 days trip thru europe (very rushed, about 7-8 countries! -> "european whirl") cost abt US$1,045. so that works out to be abt S$1,749 (as of today's rate @ http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert.cgi). then air ticket expect it to cost ard S$1.2k maybe.. we trying to find any good deals in between now and april. xiaohui went on exactly the same tour 2 years ago and she says expect to spend another S$1k+ on the tour for assorted stuff like excluded entry fees, meals, souveniors, etc). than this tour also does NOT include London, but luckily we can bunk with Malc, so hopefully won't spend too much in London.. and I hoping to maybe visit Oxford.. so say another S$500 in UK, that will work out to be about S$4,500+!!!!!!! thats y have to start budgetting and SAVING now!!! we are planning to go in april, cos thats when Malcolm is on Easter break (3 weeks), or else the UK ppl having exams in May. Autumn and Winter may be getting too cold to visit really.

okie so thats tt for now. am desperately looking for a place to stay, and everywhere is so FREAKING exp!! AHH~~~~ any lobang pls let me noe.. till later!

dance class!!!! i am v onz abt it juz tat i got no time. i always wanna dance. i saw an intro abt erotic dancing. hahahaa n i am damn interested!! the class simply teaches u hw to dance seductively n sexily. *pls dun faint* hahaha hey hey skills tat will come in handy in the future! ;p i wanna try tat but too far leh. heard tat it is in CBD area.

i am game for dimsum!! most prob anytime. my sat n sun noons quite free. i oso dun mind cooking. up to u all lah

hw much is the contiki tour to europe?

actually i read this last night but was too lazy to reply. but this proves TOO interesting not to reply!!!!!!!!!!

HUA!!!!! u totally amazes me!! hahah i tot this kind of thing only happen in movies?!!?? and crappy movies for tt matter!! oh goodness!! how did u land urself in such trouble???!!??!! somemore ur colleague somemore!!! i keep quite clear of my colleagues but in any case i also follow the theory of 'since he's married he must be safe'. well i heard tt one of the manager (tt i find cute somemore sigh.. goes to show..) is separated and apparently has a gf in office too! but my frens refuse to tell me who. so i trying to open eyes big big. but all the gals i see him with are either married, happily toking abt their kids all the time, or getting married next year!!! hrmmppp

i'm totally amazed. so wat did u do? did u tell him to f**k off? but is ur colleague man.. this is going to be so hard to handle!! update us!!!!!

back to the earlier msgs... ehh i happen to stay in sydney, THE most happening city in australia leh! which part of germany is ur fren staying? my ex roommate and my cousin are both in france (roomie in paris somemore) but i dun foresee myself staying with them. i foresee myself taking a day trip down to oxford or cambridge from london just to see how a university town looks like, but tts abt it. oo, and bunk with malc in london of cos. there is always cynthia too :p anyway u won't have wanted to come with qi. ur grp were damn happening as it is!!!!!!!!

anyway as the current situation is, will u still be having dinner with ur 4 male colleagues? ahahahha.. i'm meeting qi only b'cos she's having course down there. i was at tiong bahru yest too and bummed into my ex ex (yr 1) roommate. let us noe if u wanna come lor!

wah qi din noe u so into this wine bar thingy! i'm not. i hate alcohol. but like wat mun wrote on her blog, white wine with sprite is good. heh :P

i did a bit of jazz dancing in sydney. it's good, but i dun think the exercise is tt much. more for the sake of dancing lor if u r interested. but i find tt i'm too conscious in a class of asians.. so no thks to dance for me ;P

and i'm also not watching my spending these days. only know it's getting too scary!!!!! ahh!! i'm going to open a saving account and not touch it now. but so tempted to open UOB acc for the mini debit card (think got same benefits as the credit card) cos the card have free spinelli coffee every fri if u charge sth to it every week! sigh..... BUT wats the pt of having a "Saving" account if i intend to spend on it????!!

and r we really cooking at my place?! i tot we r having dimsum. hua u go call mun lah!!! i dun mind cooking but isn't this a treat from hua?!?! HRMP!

in the mean time, quick update us on tt disgusting lecherous pig of a colleague!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW... 1 person with 4 males collegues....... hua what you doing? sounds so scandalous.....hahhaahha.......

Last friday, i went the wine bar at Dempsy Road. It is quite nice, no band but a quiet place to hang out. But must drink lah cos is buy by bottle one. 3 of us managed to finish 1 bottle. The bad thing is it is quite inaccessible so unless you girls can get a car and drive, quite hard to go. Parking is free though. No cover charge.
This friday, we may be going to some other place again but not confirmed. Not sure how to spell the name but it is near Marriot. Not confirmed also lah. Next Tues, another outing to welcome a management trainee joining us for 6 motnhs, going a wine bar at Chijmes.
Never went Zuok's wine bar..... you mean velvet underground?? Balaclava is also not bad too i think. Another Jazz bar i know is at boat quay, above the coffee bean. Cosy place and the band is quite good one i thnk. Maybe we can check it out next time. I went once before.
I not keen on Salsa though. Think 1 of my collegue learnt before and another is learning soon. Too sexy for me.....prefer jazz kind (MTV dancing), more cool. But i am still undecided...... maybe california fitness. I can try it out with my free entry pass first.
Jieying, just remember to pay me can already heheheh....Think my expenses is really quite high. Not unmanagable but still unexpectedly high. Think i should stop shopping and eating out. So i fully support cooking in Jieying's house hahahah...

i mean better in the sense that the common fren is staying there for a year, (rich girl)ha, mayb can eat free live free! (sound like how i live in sydney last holidaes mauahah thanks jieying!)

u 2 org didnt jio me initially!!!bleah...sheat, regret didnt org wif qi to wait for u to go auz so that we can see each other together and bullie jieying!!!

dunno abt the trip, nt realli certain yet,but since there is 1 of them over there, think mayb they will wanna visit her. yar dim sum how? we shall bang seh limin! (save my money jy n qi can eat more! ha....)ha, limin, u give us a date, we all okie one..

my weekend... having noisy parties at home! haha.. well not really. friday was just lazing around at home, sleeping early, so i can wake up early to go for my badminton session with the company's team on sat morning @ YIO CHU KANG!!!! wahliao, tts like abt as far from spore as it can get from my place... i cant quite decide if tampines is worse... but i am hoping to join the team.. the girls' quite strong though sigh...

anyway i'm not really into aerobics. as u all noe, my company gym membership is with planet fitness, and i think it's only with the one at far east square tt i can get the corporate discount of $2 per entry. did dancing in sydney and dun quite think it's my cup of tea cos i'm quite 'rhythm-less' hahahaha... i'm not really keen in gym stuff at all, after having been to pilates and yoga. i'm more into sports. some of the gals in my dept r suggesting we meet up for netball now and then.. cos there r another grp of gals whom we noe plays regularly.. i will see how it all fits in with my going home plans.. anyway i think salsa is a bit like latin dance? very hot hahaha.. i think some of my colleagues were discussing it too the other day...

yeah my french class already confirmed. dunno how much is the full amt, cos got annual fee and gst as well, so will pay u after i attend my first class, which is on the 27th! kinda regret i sign up for it.. but i think must push myself to learn! or else just nua ard.. hahahaha i also wan to learn more cantonese, so have to bug mun more ;P

as for hua's dim sum treat, mun's exams coming up leh.. will she still be free to meet up? i can do most days, but let me noe in advance, but this coming weekend i'm going home lor. trying to go home every fortnight.

and wat do u mean by a "better grp"?!?!?!?!! wahliao we not good meh? DUHHHH.. anyway we r going on contiki (www.contiki.com.sg), same as wenjing, xiaohui and changjiang when they did theirs, then there is no point in having frens staying in germany b'cos the tour starts and ends in london. u will need lodging in london itself, but in all the other places included in the tour package, accomodation is included. u can consider doing less countries and stay in germany or sth, but then i think the air ticket is quite exp (believe to UK itself is like S$1.2k?) and the flight is really long, so i'm hoping to take all my leave at one go and spend a longer amt of time there...

come to think of it i think i haven't been to zouk. hahaha.. i been thinking of checking out double-o for the music but cover charge is not cheap sighh.. balaclava got ppl singing jazz i think.. but rather late, and the 1 for 1 is before 9pm. wala wala (HV) is the singer with electric guitar type and not band. i like those. not very into band. i also wanna check out ming ge can ting cos i think i have never been there (save for one hall event which had our own performers) despite all the hypes! think there shld be some jazz bar ard.. went to one in sydney, those r cool.. but not sure spore's one is where?

qi we r still meeting on wed? let me noe. cheers!

eh,when u gals free for my dim sum treat? jieying suggested geylang's. i wanna go europe too! but mayb going wif another grp (coz the grp is better n 1 of them is staying in germany!!!hiak...)

qi, which bar u went to? i went to zouk's wine bar on fridae coz there is 1-1 for media-law industry. kao, the place is ultra noisy, worse dan a mktplace!

Went to a quite cool winr bar with my collegues on Friday and spent the sat, sun sleeping at home though i did manage to drag myself to the gym. Thinking of taking dance classes with one of the gyms - California or Amore or Planet fitness but they are just too far away. Nearest is raffles or woodlands for California. Maybe i should check out the dance schools instead. Anyway keen??

well hua's problem with diving lies with the fact that she can't swim.. u need to pass a 200m swimming test and 5 min water threading before u can go for the course! anyway i'm doing them tmrw at the pool. qi see lahhhhh tt time i say i wanna go u never tell me u wanna go too! haizz.. will ask the instructor for u this week! it's a bit more exp to do externally, if u wan can wait for either NUS or NTU next diving trip, but then if all outsiders then a bit hard to join too.

aiyah i guess nobody's job is really slack lahhh but for someone of our batch, qi's job very relaxing liao mah!!! i dunno my job is how one.. but i think shldn't be as bad as audit. last yr when i went for the interview got seniors tok to us, she say the latest she has worked was 11pm. heh. and i think our peak is not as long or often as audit's. still, means less leave to clear!

aiyah i can't chase MOM anyway, cos it's PWC who's handling the application and everything. i just send back everything to PWC and MOM is liasing with them instead of me. so thats tt. hrmp!

i think we shld try to take up some sports or activities like u said though. i think i shld go dig out my dad and bro's golf clubs to see if they r still usable! hahahah.. mum ask me to give them a polish or sth and they shld be fine but i haven't taken a look at them. she's very keen for me to take up yoga though, and i dunno wats pilates in chinese and she doesn't really noe tt. hahahahah..

thks for the info on thailand, mun. i guess mahathir will have his reasons, and i always support him :p

as for PM Lee's speech, i just walk in and out of my room so i only caught bits and pieces here. dad listened to the WHOLE THING, malay and all! wahliao! i just tot he shldn't comment so much on the china-taiwan issue. although i'm sure he was trying to clear up the uproar after his last visit to taiwan, he shdn't say things like "we will never recognise taiwan if it goes for independence, and i'm sure no asian country will recog them too" erhh?!?!?!?!?! not ur own problem y go and comment on them? haizz but then again i only listen to bits and pieces so i dunno if there is a longer story, lets see wat the newspapers make of it tmrw! he was toking abt the poor students in spore and how to improve the education system or sth.. i think the students these days really very kelian, i look at my nieces and nephews.. the p1 syllabus also so hard.. everyday just tuition tuition tuition how to have time for other leisure activities? haizz

anyway spore lost the bronze medal match. even though i dun support the spore team at all, i still feel rather sad for her. and for the country ppl. cos i think it's much worse to have hopes raised then dashed... still she's very young and i think there r other olympics chances for her! after waiting for 44 yrs, i'm sure another 4 yrs wait is fine. heh.

anyway i just realised (after reading a person's comment on a newspaper article) tt the silver medal spore keep going on and on abt was won BEFORE independence!!!!!! *&#@#$%^&*&^%$#@#???????

so thats tt for olympics. i'm glad china won table tennis single. indon won badminton men single which i was very happy for too, cos i think badminton belongs to countries like indonesia, malaysia and china. korea is surprisingly strong in olympics!!! hrmmp.. anyway it's rather ironic cos indonesia did not expect any medals for this olympics and their tv station is not televising olympics AT ALL but yet they got their gold.

still, hope both m'sia and spore will do better in the next olympics! beijing (i'm rite, rite?)here we come!!!!! haha

yeah thailand is afterall not building the canal tat will threaten both msia n singapore's maritime industry.

check out the followin url for more info.

http://www1.sim.edu.sg/sim/pub/gen/sim_pub_gen_content.cfm?ID=1537&mnuid=164

mainly due to the unstable situation of the muslim majority in the southern part of thailand. in fact, i was shocked to read tat Dr Mahathir actually gave his support for the project before (!!!) isnt tat suicidal??? hmmmm cant fathom this man.....

anyway, i watched PM Lee Hsien Long made his virgin National Day Rally. his mandarin cannot really make the mark.... rather significant stammerings n weird pronunciations. overall, his speech was lighthearted, sprinkled with jokes.

xiaoqi, u n jy are the two richest babes in our group.... neither weihua n i will hav the ability to go diving no matter how much we want to.... *sniff sniff* but fret not, we hav our end-of-year redang trip to look forward to!!!!

Well it is not really a training but an orientation to tell all those newbies UOB history, motto, ppl you should know etc.... so since i have survived for 9 months without it, it is obviously not important at all. Waste of time, not that i will bother to remember all the details anyway.

And my job not that slack okie. We do have a lot of things to do, admin-documentations, sales - visit customers, lunches and dinner, entertain qns from customers, auditors and other departments and trying to meet our targets, chase customers for payment, documentations, information and whatever... i dont work from 9am to 12 midnght everyday but doesnt mean i am slack. :P Relaxation and time to nua also very important mah, we are not born to slog our lives away one you know, i am not a workaholic. I only work so that i got $$$$ to play hahahaha......

You better start work soon lah, so free. Call MOM to chase them?? So will taxation be like audit? A 9am to 12 midnight kind of job?

Help me get the registration forms and information for diving okie. Think i will register also cos dover is near enough for me to go after work. Previously the company i check is at beach road which is too far. Shall see if any of my collegues is interested then at least i got a buddy buddy. Or any of you girls interested??

i am so sian. when is work starting? i was really not looking forward to working, but then wait so long sit at home until damn sianz, actaully can't wait for it to start liao!!!! haizzz

anyway i'm doing my diving course. the theory class really boring but luckily finish liao. but some dun really understand think i better read the book properly. mummy very scared for me! the instructors also make everything sound very scary, like ur whole body is at any time in danger of rupturing! like they will say ur eardrums might burst if blah blah blah, ur lungs might rupture if blah blah blah, etc etc.. so better be really careful and everything lor.

anyway xiaoqi i think with 3k pay must do 3k worth of work lah!! all also not good one. ur job so relax still complain! hahaha.. anyway training sounds very slack.. wat u all learn there wor?

so now work very slack? since ur manager not ard? hehehe.. aiyah since u now so slack shld have come diving with me!!! see lahhhhh

anyway today i bought a new phone liao! the cheapo samsung promotion one hehehehee.. email u all the number later! tazzz

Went to trainng centre in Tampines today. Have to get up very very early but was still a bit late. This is supposed to be a orientation which everyone is supposed to go within the first 3 months in the job. So i am really late (already 9 months hahhaah). It was really boring, almost fall asleep, my collegue who went with me as well did just that. Then we went for long lunch and was late for class again. After teabreak, we zao class and hid in the canteen drink kopi hahaha....... but we are not the only bad ones, some ppl took their bags and left after lunch. The whole group is really big with all the new personal bankers (fresh grads). Most just joined less than a month or even 1 week only i think. Poor things... i think personal bankers very cham, must work very hard and tolerate all kind of customers, have very thick skin cos customers will scold and suan you and all, then got monthly targets, very stressful.
We met this group of management trainees and guess how much is their starting pay?? $3k!!! so envious.......some are fresh grads some more...... hai.........All look like the high flyers type... hai........
My boss going on long leave until end of Sept so this few weeks can be more relax...... at least he not ard but also more mafan lah cos the relief not so familiar with our customers so operations more mafan......but still more relaxed cos the relief wont be ard all the time, only pop in from time to time with prior warning.
Tomorrow have to open door, so have to wake up early as well.... ahhhhhhhhhh....... so kelian.......

CSI was showing in Australia, in fact Sydney was showing these crime scene investigation stuff practically every night! my married couple frens were totally hooked onto it. i find it a little more draining, like u must follow wat they r saying or else u won't noe wats happening. and when u r cooking or walking in and out a bit lazy to follow! heh. i don't actually see these vcds ard.. haaha... though i saw sex and the city and LOTR special edition DVD ard...

yeah okie i think i'll prob stay with u on fri nite then, mun. if change of plans will let u gals noe again :P u all pack first lah!!!!!!

went to ask abt korea tours today. so exp! and the problem is with the timing. i have 3 weeks of nothing-to-do now, and even if i wanna take up courses they don't actually start immediately when u apply, so all rather dilly dally. there is a tour leaving next week but is a shorter tour and mum seems more interested in the longer one which only leave in 3 weeks time, which will be the time i need to go for my medical checkup!!! AH!!!!!!!!

saw melissa and sinling yesterday, with their respective bfs. melissa is SOOOOOOOOOOOO Slim now!!!!!!! i am totally inspired (starting AFTER the huge plate of otak otak i had for lunch wahahhahahaha)!!!

Yeah so our trip is more or less confirmed. And it is coming soon..... only a few more days away........
Considering going China, Hainan at the end of the year on a 2 weeks community service trip to build a 800m pathway there. 2 weeks is just nice...i got just enough leave to go hahaha....plus it will be fully paid. But nothing confirmed yet. Still waiting for a friend to send me the details. Have to meet the group to see if they want me or not too.....
Think i spent quite a bit on my 2 days trip to Bintan. Mainly becos of the Spa package and massages. Food wise also a bit ex cos dun have foodcourts etc... but it was fun. I went on a Mangrove Eco tour. Learn about different kind of mangrove and saw 3 mangrove snake - got yellow bands around their body - sleeping on top of the trees, monkeys, kingfisher etc.
I also got this stupid case i need to redo. Like what mum said, i will try to finish this week so that i can enjoy my long weekend. I actually brought it home but lazy to get started. Think i will do after this. So mun, we can jiayou together!!!
See you girls on friday or sat then.......

amazingly i have been to thailand numerous time and have covered the north (aep trip to chiangmai chiangrai), the central (went in uni yr 1 with mum aunt and younger bro to bangkok) and the south (hatyai, a few times with family!). there r some really famous buddhist temples in bangkok, one of which supposedly really 'ling' one. but the thing abt praying is tt when wat u hope for comes true, u MUST go back to the place and 'return the favour'. during my trip, there was this couple who went all the way to bangkok merely to 'huan yuan'. so sometimes i also be a bit careful abt wat i pray for when i'm in temples.

still, enjoy ur trip to bangkok! it's a really nice place!

as for our weekend trip.. if we go JB, means i'll stay over on fri nite then we drive in on sat morning. EARLY to avoid the traffic! or rather avoid as much as possible. i dunno if i wanna do that cos everything will be so packed in singapore anyway. we will c how it goes. lemme think abt it. got waterfall ard my place if u all wanna go. like drive one hour or so maybe. or else go beach, lemme think abt tt too. or go melaka, though there like nothing to see haha. erh i buy bus ticket for monday afternoon for u all first, cos i dun think i going into spore on mon rite after u all come.

started persuading mum to go HK with me, got lost with my own tot. will stop here first!!! till later!

hello yas, miss u leh. been checkin your blog but no updates. have a nice trip at bangkok. the temples there r supposedly very gd! many hongkong celebs also go there n things do get better after their visit. update us when u get back!

i am so nua..... have been wasting my time away.... wanna start on my research again but there is nothing much to do or rather my brain refuses to get started.... got some ideas but they dun seem sufficient enough to get expanded into a 120 000 words thesis and how on earth can my small brain come up with a paradigm tat is worth lookin into n with significant theoretical value?????!!!! *scratch head* but muz work hard or else my conscience will prick n stab me during my wkend trip to msia! hahaha

oh well oh well.... watever we do in msia is fine with me as long as expenses fall within my budget. hehehee we can go karaoke at redbox! but muz book first cos it will definitely be fully booked over the long wkend.

jieying can help us book?? redbox is at holiday inn or plaza. we can watch movies at city square oso n eat eat eat!!! muahahahahahaha climb mountain oso can. this time round muz try try to reach the summit.

can we make short trips from kluang to some other places tat r worth seeing?

rang my mum today and she says they will be in singapore tomorrow so will be picking me up directly from the airport when i arrive. so i won't be able to meet up with u gals!!!!!!!!!! i'm terribly terribly sorry but i promise i will try my best to meet up with u all asap!! cos u noe la, my parents will want me to spend some time at home first, so i don't know if i'll be able to get away this weekend. will try my very very best!!!

i have sms u gals, so i hope it won't be too much of an inconvenience, esp mun, who might have already taken leave!! sorry abt it!!!

packing is going terribly badly, but i realised posting is not *too* expensive although it is quite steep cos everything goes by air and there is no shipping to m'sia/spore thru the normal post here.

last day in sydney, and it's a rainy rainy day! maybe they r moaning my departure.. hehehehe.. i'm going to see karaoke, wat crap rite, but theresa wants to do it, and i guess i have seen opera house ten thousands time and i'll pass this time. results' still not out, keeping fingers crossed!

till later, missing u gals lots!!!

i was horrific of my own behavior. i was rude to someone who on retrospect doesnt deserve it.

a security guard will always at present at a bridge at pgp n anyone enterin pgp via tat route has to record some info in a log bk. most guards on duty would b v slack abt it. there is this particular guard who will insist u write legibly n question u alot. i am ok with it cos she is reaaly doing her job. though abit bossy....

then last nite i came back with cozi. we decided to not use that bridge n to walk past it to the main lobby bcos we wanna buy sth. then she came out to us n demanded tat we show her our matric cards simply becos we r enterin the sch compound. i was taken aback n retorted tat there is no such rule n tat it is an open campus n anyone can enter. then she said she has to make sure we r allowed to enter pgp. she looked at my matric card n never said anything.

i dunno wat came over me. i raised my voice n said tat she cant even tell if i am stayin in pgp juz by merely lookin at the card. then i left her there....

i was so shocked at myself. i could have juz shut up n let her see the matric card. but i din. although i din sprout any vulgarities at her, nothing could justify me raisin my voice at her.......

BTW, you wanna watch SILENCE OF THE LAMB?? I have the movie!! I love that movie. Actually, I watched Red Dragon first before silence of the lamb. That was what triggered me to hunt "silence" down. *Imagine I actually had to buy the movie from Hong Kong!!*
You want?? I can pass it to you...

hiak.. i get what ya mean... so near yet so far... ironic. but that's life! full of contradictions. =P

fret not for ur thesis!! It's always like this... you are all confused in the beginning but slowly, you'll be able to draw all the necessary connections between stuffs you've read!

try doing something on perception and cognition? (that's environmental psychology.. dunno if it's related to yours) It's quite interesting. I did that for my thesis... on how human beings behave and find their way in the env.

y no posting for so looong?

i am busy busy busy
have been pullin hair over my thesis proposal. got 8 thick books from library n only used 3 for referencing. printed another dozen papers from net..... now finally it is over!!!!

i submitted to my weird prof who is the head of psychology dept. yeah he is my supervisor.

i took one n a half day off from work to do it....
now tat it is done, it is a load off my mind

in the meantime while i was rushin my proposal, i read silence of the lambs and got fed up with my deco comm members. silence is great n v v v engaging. makes wanna watch the movie. anyone seen it before?

my members suck! why? i always get horrible people for work. they r not tat bad but juz do sloppy work n tell u tat oh i cant come on when n when n those when n when r impt days..... decorating pgp is fun n i tink the results will b great. pgp will look fabulous! hohohoho

next week will b my last day at work before i plunge myself fully into RA work. watever RA stuff i have been busy is juz the tip of the iceberg. must make a mental note to make some farewell gifts for my colleagues or rather bosses at work. now i feel i am at an equal level with some of them as the conversational topics we deal with nowadays deviate from work n more like the future n education n silly parents who tink 95 marks for a test is not gd enuff.

hahah sad sad....
parents need teachers most.....

joy 1: yay! jieying is coming back!

joy 2: kisses to weihua for givin me so much ideas for my honours thesis but i still find it v hard to incorporate newtonian physics into psychology. hahah thanks sweetie for everything

joy 3: it has been great to get to noe yas again! weird statement. but i always feel v far far away from u until the recent gatherings n talks, all the best for your future! you can find your niche

Date Posted: 20:37:26 07/06/04 Tue

frankly dear, my heart tells me that i want to give up archi altogether.
That was what I told myself when I took Honours. But research was the thing that kept me in the line. Yet it suddenly dawns on me that for research in archi, I cannot do without coursework... which is sick... sick to the core.

Do you know how much will I get paid if I go work in an aki firm now? Below $1800. And that's the cap. And I slog like shit and I'll have no time for myself. And then I'll question what meaning is there in my life. I rather do any job even though I know it wouldn't have fantastic pay, but to still get a life...

That's what my heart tells me to do. My senior told me, if aki is not what you want. Please leave now when you have the chance. By the time I plunge another 2 more years, there is no turning back. And my pay will still be like SHIT.

There is no prospects for 'pure research' in this line. I think my family situation now doesn't allow for me to do this. I can't just think from my own perspective anymore...

Guess I know what I want... I don't think I will regret it even if I give this line up. There is no prospects. No job satisfaction. No monetary returns. No nothing, whereas on my part, there is NO passion to speak of in design.

*clap clap* Give me your support, people!!

not sure if we r the right person to give u advice. me i mean. but i think tt u shld go ahead with what u think is best for urself. last yr, lots of ppl kept telling me that i shldn't do a masters degree without any work experience, and i do agree with that now, but i still do not regret my decision to do it first. i think it's so difficult to pull urself out of a line once u make the plunge, and i think if u think it's really not ur cup of tea, then it's just not going to be! might as well do the research degree now! rather than wasting ur time with a design degree, then realise u still wanna do the research one, or worse, do the design degree, go into archi firm, and CONFIRM that archi firms sucks. i guess tutor will try to advise us to take the normal path, cos if u don't experience u won't noe.. but i think sometimes u don't have to experience "certain" things to noe tt it's going to be shit..........

follow ur heart. hope everything will turn out alright in the end!

hua, how did ur interview at mun's firm and ibm go?

I am extremely worried now that my future is unbelievably BLEAK.
Now my tutor adviced me to go back to do a design degree and go be an architect, and do research ONLY after my degree.
Tell me tell me!! How many years will that take??!?! And Architects, she said earn PEANUTS but prospects are better than I plunge into the research degree now.....
I wanna puke.
I can still do that... but I question what I want in life.

Maybe I should go and teach. At least that will give me more job satisfaction than in an aki firm......

I don't know what else can I do otherwise.... people, tell me, should i do a design degree??? I have to make a choice....
I don't know. I can't think straight now.

why does everyone sound so worried these days? makes my own worries sound like childish rubbish as compared to u guys! so i won't go thru them now.. just some rubbishy PMS crap... damn tired, what with going out and all that. i think playing is even more tiring these days, prob cos a lot of it is sort of farewell type of obligations. not really looking forward to the trip next week either cos so much things to settle before that! e.g. my bloody tax returns. sigh.

hua, take yas' advice, she has obviously been 'researching' into these area more ;p good luck with everything!!! hope mun's firm will be able to offer u a temp job or sth first. consulting grp is very prestigious, but with ur grades u can try applying, though they r damn hard to get in. but yeah i guess u shld open up ur options!

qi, hang in there, i'm sure it's just this moment in time, u will get pass it and everything will be fine!

I can probably understand how Hua feels. The problems with a 'professional' degree are:

1) The graduate himself cannot 'swallow his pride' to take on another job other than what he specialises in. Afterall, he has invested so many years in this field already. So he'll need sometime to consider whether he should give up what he specialises in, or to do something else.(Yours truly here is stuck in this pathetic state.)
2) Companies nowadays will not employ such graduates due to the recession. So even if the graduate does come to terms with his pride, he can't get a job.
3) Even within the graduates' own professional field, there are at least a hundred other candidates fighting for the same job. So the graduate also won't get a job.
4) The natural thing for the graduate to do now, is to go back to school. But here comes the major problem, if he continues to pursue a Higher degree, two years down the road, the economy is not going to get any better. By then, it will be even harder for him to find a job because his career capital depreciates.(And I am stuck with this dilemma now.)

Hua, if you want, I can really ask my lighting design tutor if he needs engineers for his research project. I will find out the job scope for you? (And I tell you the monetary returns is high)I can't work for my own tutor now because she doesn't have any on going projects. *Long story as I've said on my blog* My advice for Hua, be active in your search for engineering research assistant jobs in NUS. You get paid, and you can do your degree. It's killing two birds in one stone. And keep this to yourself if you do not want a thousand other engineers to be fighting for the job.

oooh i love tat last paragraph hoho

Are you an accidental flirt? Ten ways you can unwittingly lead a man on

Men often believe you're flirting with them even when you're not. Here, Mark Mason explains the ten ways you can unknowingly send out the wrong signal

1. Putting one more kiss at the end of an email than he did. Women are naturally friendly - if flirting is a mountain, they're always walking in the lower foothills. But men want to get to the peak as soon as possible. Your extra 'x' was done without thinking. He assumes you're starting an auction of kisses that will end up with the two of you in bed.

2. Saying you like his shirt. The average man doesn't notice clothes - if you
advertisement

notice his, he'll think it's because you want to see them on your bedroom floor.

3. Asking questions about his girlfriend. You're just being nosy about his love life. He thinks you want a walk-on part in it.

4. Talking about your own relationship problems. You find it easy to discuss these things. Men don't, so he'll imagine that you're auditioning replacements for your boyfriend.

5. Approaching him at a party. Men see starting a conversation as the first stage of seduction. They can't understand why you'd do it just to be friendly.

6. Touching his arm as you talk. Women are more tactile than men - they forget that testosterone can be brought to the boil by the merest brush of a female hand.

7. Teasing him. You're doing it simply because you can, and it amuses you. He sees it as an early phase of the mating ritual.

8. Ignoring a call on your mobile when you're with him. You hit 'divert' because it's your boss and you don't want to talk to her - but the man's ego tells him you're captivated by his witty conversation.

9. Re-applying your make-up. A fresh coat of lip-gloss makes you feel good about yourself. He thinks it's being done to attract him.

10. Dancing with him. It's an Abba record - you'd dance with the nearest hat-stand - but your partner in boogie assumes that you want his body.

Of course, all these are things you might do if you are really flirting. But even if you're not, don't worry too much - wouldn't life be boring if you couldn't laugh at men?

unfair!!! all the photos in xiaoqi's album are taken by ME!!!! except for her dumdum backpack photo. hahahaha... but then again i think i get wat mun means. xiaoqi does prefer scenery shots, and melbourne is a very "national geographic" places. like i could taken tonnes and tonnes of photos at great ocean road! actually i did take tonnes and tonnes of photos of those rocks, but then only pick a few lahhh and xiaoqi also only selected a couple. and at gramphians national park, i only took a few, but xiaoqi will go 'take this, take that'! tts y have all those 'aerial shots' cos we were high up in the pinnacles.

and the mellowing trees was in a winery. i dun think it's actually a proper road for use, like only for show! haha.. it's really really beautiful isn't it? i went ard just searching for it cos i saw it first on weihua's fren's photos. xiaoqi made me run ard like idiots and throw leaves in the air! hope the photos turn out well enuf for all the effort i put in! hrmp! :P

anyway, wasn't my NZ photos very national geographic as well? hrmmpp cos i took more than 1000 photos, and i only put up abt 200+ i selected mostly got my face one mah!! HEHEHEHEHE...

and i never act cute meh? hahahaha i tot i got a bit. but then it feels weird acting cute when u r taking a solo pic??? aiyah i miss u gals lah. as i was telling my fren the other day, it's just different when u dun have ur crazy frens ard to do crazy things with u! (we were toking abt watching strip shows available here ;P :P)

so tt was tt. i will show u guys more photos when i get back lahh cos all on my laptop. i haven't read xiaoqi's captions though!

exams' just ard the corner, and i'm sick. this is soooo badd... and i'm going skiing this weekend somemore!!! *groan*

despite reading harry potter and all tt, i never quite imagine myself flying on broomsticks. hrmp. yeah everyone complains abt how 'order of the phoenix' is such an anti climax book. and it's so thick! to get thru all of that, and realise the ending is... just like tt. but still, i also can't wait for the next book! i wanna watch the show soon too, but reckon i'll be doing it after my last paper (1st july) only. winson keep asking me to watch it with him but i don't really want to. hrmp. it's just some weird theory of mine. nvm.

was just complaining to xiaoqi abt how she hasn't been writing here. haha. anyway i have not uploaded my own photos, so have not send it to the rest of the gals. just managed to upload qi's (170+ as she said! URGH) yesterday hurriedly, not sure if qi can add comments to them? sorry if u can't.. haha.. i'll give u the CD when i get back lahhh it takes too long to upload to the spore sites. wil upload my own one soon and send u gals! haha.. or qi, pls go send them urself. =)

Good luck hua for your interview okie. Dont be too nervous, wear nicely and talk nicely. Smile more yah. Remember to bring all your things.

So mun is still working. Me and Jieying got you a present from down under. When are you free to pick it up?

Jieying uploaded the photos for me at her usual site. hahah.... 176 of them i think and i have deleted some others cos they are blur or not nice. Forget to take photo of the interior of the backpacker place and the Canyon.... SAD........ hmmmmm........ working as usual, got new collegues, got one very shuai one. hahaha...... next time send you all the photo of him from our monthly office outing.

I watched harry potter too!!! very nice though they skipped some parts and you definitely need to read to understand fully but graphics was cool. Wish i can play quidditch and own a flying broom too..... and hermy is so pretty...... Ron is derrrrrrrr....... harry is harry as usual and Lupin look so kelian.....Peter pettigrew looks gross.....really like a rat. And Sirius as a dog looks really scary.......well well cant wait for the next movie and the next book(though i complained so much about the recent one).

WATCH YOUR ENGLISH!!! and yesh, definitely shldn't wear sleeveless to take photo. it looks so informal! preferably a collared button shirt, in a colour that you think goes with your colouring. one of my fren always wear red cos she's fair and the shirt gives more colour to the photo. i think i shld go take one with suit soon... i still can't handle photoshop well enuf to get rid of my eyebag, pimples, etc etc ;p oh, hua, rem to research up on the co and such lahhhh..

mun, why r u getting recipe book for me? errrhhh.. i hardly think i'm going to get any baking done when i get back! hehehee.. though i will *try* to bake sth for u gals lahhh :P :P first of all need to get that oven first!! heh...

and i'll confirm with u abt the arrival again, cos if my parents come, then no point u guys coming too since i can't hang ard, then u gotta wait a couple more days before i come back to spore!! :P

too busy to go shopping now, so think i'll give bodyshop a miss. sob!! anyway i def need to go on a full scale cosmetic shopping when i get back!

malc haven't gotten back to me, but previously he did send me his own one before. wahiao so chim, everyone sure noe is not i write kind hahahaha.. i think the focus is very different in every country, so a UK resume, spore resume, and aussie resume will be all very different i think. still, glad for any help i can get!!!!!

ur MOE award thing sounds quite funny.. so who r u going to ask? tan ming ming? WHAHAHAHAHAHAH.... ah well.. i think they need to make the event more prestigious sounding so ppl will be more inclined to go for it! they still need a large supply of teachers dun they! still, i'm sure there r lots of free and good food, enjoy! :P

duno wat qi doing, maybe after her leave now need to work harder hehehehee... i will be uploading our photos soon, once i get thru these papers...

okie back to work. really last day liao, not even a full day, so pls pls pls pls pray for me!!!

more work! good for u mun!!! anyway the co sounds like they r really in love with u.. hehehee.. jiayou at work lor! but does this mean u won't be free on 20th july? heh.. anyway i rang my mum and she said they might pick me up straight away. to be confirmed. no worries anyway.

can SOMEONE check hua's grammar and all tt? heh. i'm getting malc to read mine! shaun read mine, gave quite a bit of comment on my resume but i din get ard to correcting them all. too tiring! i HATE writing cover letter too. malc is getting me to write individual one even for all 4 different big 4 cos he says they focus on different stuff. urgh. i hate this man!!!!

by dimsum place do u mean teahouse or tea chapter or sth like tt at raffles place area?

anyway mun, thks for the offer. it's not the actual address, as in they wan to be able to call me up for interview immediately or so. they r not going to like arrange to meet me a month later!! by then my resume will be in the trash~~~~~~ sigh.....

i'm down t0 28 days or so in sydney. minus off my travelling days, i would say i have less than 17 days in sydney itself. minus off 10 days of exams. left 7 days!!! gosh, time really flies doesn't it....

okie stop crapping abt these. back to work! really getting stressed out over wed paper.. pray for me babes!

hrmp no lah it's okie mun, i guess for cosmetics i shld go try it out first. as u noe i dun have any to begin with!! hahahaahah... but if have, i guess i want the darker shade (think there are only two) of concealer. but if too trouble some don't bother! i haven't exactly tried it out (using red earth at the moment but it's sooo little!) but suet always recommends it.

as for your job, hahahah yeah it's such an ego booster! i wouldn't mind having someone gushing over me like that man! hahaha.. though i think my small boss quite likes me but i know i'm not very good at my temp job cos i still can't catch their accent and technical jargons very well. still i think i'm improving and working for the big boss no long seem as torturous...

yeah i do agree tt a company with high turnover rate does not sound too appealing. but then again if their turnover rate not high we will never be able to get in! hhaha.. like i think kp turnover rate is prob the highest among the big 4.. though sinling, cynthia and a lot of my other frens r still there (meiru is going in too!). they seem the most likely to recruit me, though at the rate i'm going i might not make it in too! hahah... then again, my current firm's turnover rate is damn high too, like when i went in i had at least 5-6 ppl more senior than me, then now i'm the 3rd most senior, and they are about 5 ppl junior to me! it's just that it's a temp job and ppl graduates and move on to other job, though one gal said she had enough of the torture under the big boss, and like i'm moving out of sydney.. yeah.. so it's hard to say!

still, i guess it's good mentality to concentrate on ur teaching contract and not ponder upon other options! or will be 'mei wan mei liao'. one will always wonder if we shld have made other choices but this will never stop if we keep pondering upon it.

hua, u better concentrate on looking for a job! u have to be actively seeking u noe, or else now job market still pretty competitive! i'm also starting to think about sending out my resumes. though not having a local address on my forms just put me at such a disadvantage, and i feel like i have to resend everything when i get back, which is such a nuisance that i don't know if i shld bother doing it now too. (like i have to do it twice?) but i do want to start work in august (rather unlikely seeing how i will be back on 20th july only! maybe i shld look for a temp job too....)

feeling rather shit today. studying is going really badly. will stop here, hope everyone is well.

btw, loki ur newest blog is rather interseting, can i steal it over? :p

GSS might end soon.....

why dun u check out wat is the shade of concealor or makeup tat u want? tell me lah then i get for u. 20% off for makeup!! hehe do it fast babe

anyway got more happy news from work! hahaha i cant get enough of all this ego boosters. hee

my employment agency called me n said they received an email from my company commending me for my gd performance!! *wide grin* i am described as a well mannered, meticulous, responsible along with all other superlatives employee n that they would love to have me back!!! heheheee yippee *jumpin in the air*

actually i dun tink i was tat great. my immediate boss is a scatterbrain. n becos i wont b affected by her mistakes in any ways, i could afford to remain calm n not panic n i was there to calm her n help to smooth things out. she is horri ble! she printed out the list of registrants for the event n only brought along A to T n forgot about those people with surnames starting with W to Z!!! wah piang!!! she v jialat one leh. come to think of it, i wouldnt want to work under her..... but then she gave me the chance to shine n still praise me!! *evil laughter*

well well i hav decided oreadi without much struggles to put aside my new found work interest for a stable teaching stint. my friend did suggest negotiating with the company for a sponsorship of my hons year. nah.... dun tink i will negotiate a gd deal out of them.

heard tat their turnover rate is rather high so there muz b something fundamentally bad tat a temp cant see. nope this is not an effort of self-consoling. heee

shit, is the Great Spore Sale going to be over when i get back? tts like late July and i think so huh! so upset! suet bought a lot of stuff from Zara and Mphosis or sth too!

i just got a pair of pants to go with my pinkish purple mushroom (dunno wat) colour suit. but the cutting is absolutely horrible and i need to alter it definitely. jus got it for the cloth. there r sales here too, but i'm really really tight on aussie dollar so no more shopping for me!

still i keep waiting for bodyshop to go on sale! damn.. and now the spore one is! i wanna get the concealer (to hide all my pimples), and also tot i wanted to get their cosmetics. after all i'll need them when i start work no?

as for shoes.. i'm happy with what i have at the moment. definitely won't go for those killer heels! hahaha.. charles & keith stuff never seems to fit me.. hrmpp.. all for the sake of vanity huh mun? :P

seriously i do not envy hua for having to tok to her sis.. i'm sorry but she seem more impossible than her mum!!! but still, a sister (hua) gotta do wat a sis gotta do :p

to harry potter, yeah mun thks for trying. me and qi will DEFINITELY still watch it!! hahaha.. hopefully after all my papers. I dun like Jackie chan show though hehehe.. and def dislike karen mok! haha

congrats on the MNC job. i always wan to work in a MNC! hopefully after a few yrs of slogging in the Big 4. too bad u got ur MOE job. hrmpp.. still, this kind of thing very hard to say one too.. just be happy with your choice lah! though i must say it's surprising they let a temp staff do so much stuff! But it's good and you should definitely make full use of the experience and learn as much as possible. Good on you! So what are your plans for now till school reopens?

shaun ask me today what r the things i wan to do now that i have only got a month left in sydney. but whatever i wan to do, i keep thinking of doing it with someone in spore! really really miss u guys so so so much! can't wait to get back!!!

will stop here since i'm still technically at work :p till later!

i watched harry potter!!!!
not that great. rather boring.... like wat yas said in her blog the cinematic effects were great n THAT WAS ABOUT IT. pretty disappointing i would say.

but still since both qi n jy are fans, u should still watch cos u get to see how hermione display her wits n how all that magic gets materialised.

ron no longer looks as cute. he lost some fats.... hahaha

i caught AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS. by jackie chan. it is alot better than i had expected. there were many cameos in that show. sam ho. xiao fang fang. owen wilson. david arquette. the deuce gigolo. arnie the california governor. so many more. try to spot karen mok n this hk cutie who is in all that gen y shows but i cant rem his name. not bad. more entertainin than harry potter..... hehee am i killin your interest in harry potter?

i am v proud of myself. yesterday was the last of my working days at the mnc. both the director n my team leader came to talk to me!! they were praising me for my gd performance n wanted to offer me a perm job!! even after my hons year.... but i oreadi got moe..... damnnit!! nevertheless i got myself an employer for the next holiday! hehehe hopefully i dun need to go to school n teach yet. i have really enjoyed handling event mangagement n interacting with big shots! i shook hands with the managing director of MS Mr Andy Zupsic as well as the chief information officer from the canadian govt Mr Simon Gauthier. Andy is nice n Simon is a boring speaker. hahaha

went shoppin with meiru the other day. we spent an hour at charles n keith! we tried so many pairs of shoes!! n finally got those pointed glam glam ones. i wore to work yesterday n they bite into my feet! ouch!!! so much for tat long trying......

body shop is having a great sale now. i got myself a body scrub for only $10! tat is like about $16.90 off the usual price.

more gd news to come!! yayayayayayay!!! *jumping up in air with hands up* haha this is a long post. skip those sections demarcated by asterix if u get bored of it. hehe

weihua congrats!!! on gettin 2nd upper. oh i am so pressurrized now. hoho i will work hard cos a 2nd upper means more money! *keching*

*******************************
firstly, i tot i wont get that job cos i told them i need a half day off for my pgp event n the interviewer dun sound v positive. but they still gave the job. yooohooo gng to start tmrw. i went down for an hour today cos Microsoft sent a representative to tour that marketing company. n i have to b there cos i am considered *ahem* part of the team. haha the company is so cool. Carlson Marketing Group. a huge American based MNC.

their office is at Harborfront. i reached early and upon exiting the lift i panicked. cos when i looked out the small little windows in the lift lobby door i can only see the carpark n it doesnt seem like there is space for office at all! blanked out for a while cos the company is really particular abt punctuality n i dun wan to look stupid by callin to declare tat i am lost. finally i decided to go to the carpark n catch any passerby to ask. n then there i saw the entrance to the company! oh my there is actually a red carpet rolled out at the entrance.

the people there are really nice n warm n EVERYONE has an American accent. got a few angmohs. 'hi how r you sweetie? nice to have you here with us. juz shout across the room for me if u need help' WOW although i noe tat was juz bein polite but i LOOOOOOVE it. haha

my duties are to register representatives from govt sectors and companies with more than 500 employees attending a Microsoft seminar. i have to liaise with HOD and even CIO and CEO. wowowowowow stressed.....

but then contract only till 15th june. better than nothing.
******************************

i got accepted for the MOE teaching award. i dun have to worry abt my tuition fees and i will get 2k per semester in NUS as allowance. this is so great!

i must say at the moment there isn't much diff between attached and single but i'm trying to put more of a distance between us.. sigh it's too complicated to put into words.

parents got pissed at me cos i broke up AGAIN. sigh. i can't understand it! they get pissed cos i change bfs too often. they think i'm unstable. and playing with ppl's feelings. &^%$#@#$%^&*&^%$#@

too pissed to say anything now.

*envious* both qi n hua r gng to sydney......

jy, have things improved? it seems to b so... well there isnt alot of time for u two to b together anyway. will being single make a big difference now? however, it all boils down to how u feel abt the relationship.

Yeah, i am going to melb/sydney in June to visit Jieying too!! Going to see penguins, whales, blue mountain, ocean road, wineries, opera house, sunday market and dunno what else. Will think more when i get the lonely planet guide book and then we can discuss jieying but mean time you can think too since you are familiar. My home computer a bit cannot make it already i think so better to email me using the company's email. Send to both lah.....
Also going for this 30 hours famine camp to starve myself and raise awareness on world poverty issues. Hahaha.... think i will be terribly hungry after that.

supposed to be working on my essay, so a short one

mun!!!!!!!! how many times must we tell u to do FINANCIAL PLANNING properly!!! it's not even BIG money u noe.. pls at least plan ahead and have enuf money to feed urself for the entire week or sth! wahliao... *shake head* nvm.. we rid ourselves off u, let cozi support u!! WAHAHAHAHAHAH *feeling sorry for poor cozi* MUAHHHAH

okie lah, dun suan u, but then really lor... can't go on like this u noe..

who did u go JB with? i also dun approve of smuggling too many VCDs at one go. i noe they can't be bothered abt piracy nowadays, but then better dun risk it lor... we checked out the scanning machine at the easter show, and the ppl really can guess quite accurately by scannig the x-ray thingy what u have in ur bag. it's just whether they good mood let u go or not..

i also wan to go karaoke!!! but my singing sucks, so can only go with close frens who will have no choice but to put up with my croaking! YEAH!!!

redbox karaoke at jb is soooooooo gd n CHEAP. hahha i paid only about 12ringgit for 3hours of karaoke n tat includes lunch!!! wuahahahah we shld go there too!!

i had two karaoke sessions in this week alone. this is bad. i got my tuition money n tot i was abit loaded n then suddenly with all the generosity (treated some frenz to lunch though juz some hawker food but still.... bought snacks for frenz) n now i am back to the broke status AGAIN.... sigh.....

i am gng to KL tonight. told cozi tat i got abt 100ringgit with me n tot it shld suffice. he told me not to change any more cos he has 300odd ringgit n he is gng to get another 300 odd for the wkend. *gasp* did he tink i am gng to spend SO MUCH money??? heee but then it was so sweet of him to do all tat *swoon*

on monday i went to jb n i bought several vcds n some r shows tat cozi wanna watch but i tot they were B grade... hahah oops nevertheless i bought them so we could watch together. i called him n got a scolding from him cos he tot it is too risky to smuggle 5 vcds over.... although i tot his worries are groundless cos the immigration wld b more concerned abt the terrorists than piracy supporters like me. guess he was xin xu. when he reached singapore tat same nite, he came to pgp straight to look for me. he felt apologetic. heheee then he gave me a big pack of mamee!!! hahah cos he cant find any nicer stuff to buy for me at this stopover station on his way back to spore. awwww.... then he was nice n sweet to me without suaning me. well tat was only for tat nite.

it was back to friendly bickering the followin days.... i complained n he retorted tat he did not do anything wrong so dun need to b TAT sweet n nice. hahahahaha

updates on our small but cosy gathering on sun. it was v nice n i enjoyed every minute of it. felt closer to kuangli now. funny how it took so long.

we contemplated going to centro's gay nite! haha we ended up sitting outside the disco n drinkin alcohol courtesy of weihua n watchin shuai ge who could hav been added to our target list if not for incompatibility in sexuality. ;p
we shld b attempting another proper crash on the gay bars. yeah shall we? =)

am just too tired to even think of a message subject.

yas y u always have this sort of super long url/email?! don't u noe u shld have easy and simple one so ppl will drop by ur blog more easily (as such i can only read ur blog at home cos it's stored in my fav list!) or email u at random? i tend to type emails when i send them out, rather than getting it via an address book. so i may miss out on u sometimes.. well go to yahoogroups.com urself and change ur email there urself! then mails will still go to u :P

anyway i do read ur blog, as evidenced by my message on ur tagboard!

mun, i forgot abt ur soluble panadol. hehehe.. shaun also has them! @#$%^&^%#$%^ okie, i'm a very pills person :P

i dun think i can spend $75 on a bloody haircut!!!!!! other than rebonding, my haircut never cost more than RM10! hehehe.. well rebonding is exp.. but tt one bopian cos my hair is really bad and if i dun do anything abt it, it's just like some haystack. sigh!

shaun was also very bad at observing this sort of things. but now he's better. maybe trained by olivia! WHAHAHAHAH.. in any case, he was asking me today how often do girls cry? i think i cry at most 5 times a year? he think we cry more than once a week!!!!!!!! and i told him i dun think any of my gfs are like tt... r u gals like tt??!?!!!?

mun, aren't u looking for jobs this hols? u sound very zuobo wahahahahhahahahha

oh sorry i got dc tt day and din bother to log on again. are u still staying on as RA?

how was the outing tt day?

off to bed. check my blog sometimes too. taz!
