here's my *eventful* day
8.30am tutorial in lab! could barely wake up cos i slept at 2.30am!!! but got a nice tutor! and great tutorial mates! even had my ex-ex-ex-ex crush :P except the tutor said may split us up =(
10.30am back to room, feel like plonging down on bed but decided to MUG. finish the chapter i was reading the nite before
12.00pm cannot take it anymore. drop off to sleep before lunch
2.00pm awaken by frens asking me to help them switch class. they gave me wrong password!! and i was worrying tt i might lock them out from the system! dumb
2.30pm proceed to do tutorial and eat yoghurt
4.30pm rush out to bugis
5.30pm fren late. so got my fav octopus ball!! yummy yummy. shop ard bugis but none of the jeans at bossini which was on sale fits me =(
6.00pm fren arrived. checked out cinema realise gangs of new york (GONY) is not showing there! damn. forgot to check before coming out!
6.10pm topshop, miss selfridge on sale! fren's a fanatic of these shops so waited for her. but none of the clothes suits me. and i think 60++ bucks for a pair of jeans' still too ex for poor me...
6.30pm dragged her off to OG. before tt, tried out my hush pups for the upteeth time. at OG, bought the jeans tt i have tried on for at least 3-4 different shopping trips. 20% off. decided i dun wan to wait anymore! got another gior tee too. my fav white! but no discount for membership there.sigh. so much for getting the key from cyn!
7.00pm walked back to bugis. dropped by at the hawker centre inside the crowded small stalls to eat dinner. tried this chicken wing rice which had 'city beat' sign. but it was so-so. sigh
7.40pm went back to seiyu and got my shoes! the $39 one. which was on special discount quite long ago but i keep thinking my toes look sticking out in tt. but it's very similar to the one i really wanted lah. and the one i really wanted is only on 20% off. so it's still 50++ to 60. so who cares! sigh. but too bad for the membership card i got from fren too. no use at seiyu!
8.20pm went to shaw tower. dun have GONY!
8.40pm reached suntec. no GONY! at this pt.. i must add sth, my fren actually heard sth weird when we were in the loo. tell u all next time. give me the creep.
9.00pm marina square gv. we actually half ran here! but no GONY either!!! at this pt was so frustrated. watching it is the OBJECTIVE of the day! then we finally got hold of the newspaper to check! but it was only showing at great world city!
9.05pm trying to flag cab but none came! so called one in the end. when the person picked me up, he acutally has my surname on the screen! but i distinctly remember i DID NOT gave them my name! hrmmp.. did i register wif comfort unknowingly?? hrmmpp...
9.20pm reached great world. long queue at ticket counter! the ultimate thing happened here!!!! when i was buying the tickets, xueling (my fren) was getting popcorns, and the IDIOT guy at the counter asked for my i/c!!!!!!!!!and i was like huh? i/c? i'm buying tics for 'gangs of new york' rite!
and he was like, ya it's NC16!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and i gave him this totally speechless look!!!!then he wanted me to bring my fren over to check too. but when he saw her, he just say, oh ur fren no need. but he insist on checking mine!!!!!!! wat rubbish!!!!!!!!!! and i showed him my ezilink card (bus card which i done in sch, so have NTU
sign and my birthdate on it)think he just saw NTU and was satisfied(cos sec sch and jc students have an MOE card instead)DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i tot tt last week when i caught the RA show, and the guy checked my i/c was still okiee... sighhhhhh goes to show huh! xueling was like saying dunno whether we shld feel complimented or insulted!!! this morning, as an afterthought, she was telling, wahliao, wat tt uncle think? aunty bring niece out for movie??
12.00am the show finally ended. it was not bad but we hide behind our hands for all the gruesome gruesome scenes. they actually show topless woman too! hrmp.
12.10am on cab back to fren's place at bishan. decide tt cab fare back to boon lay is too much!!!!!
1.30am dead and asleep
