ooo.. nite at shangri la! sounds cool.. a step up from the usual chalet? ;P

anyway u gals shld go karaoke. once i went 3 times in a week, but then haven't been since then.. hehe.. dun really sing so dun go lor! my karaoke kaki, one went back spore liao.. sob~ got winson lah, but he sings very well, cannot go wif such ppl one hahaha :p

hua, i think u hor, need to think abt wat YOU can give ppl before complaining abt wat others r not giving u? ^_^ sorry lah i just think tt like wat yas says, we r always complaining abt wat we r giving ppl, and not wat others have given us. reflect on tt? this is after all the seasons of sharing! :P

anyway my housemate hvae told me this before, like i said i wan to fall in love. then she equates tt to getting hurt. i guess it's just if u never love the person, u will never feel the pain deep enuf? but then r we willing to let ourselves be so emotional abt it such tt we get totally reliant on that person? not too good an idea in my opinion.. sorry i'm still the cynical/cold blooded/emotionally detached person :P and i never believe in the story of 'would u love me if i'm blind and deaf?' seriously, would u gals love someone to that extend? i dunno if i'm selfish or practical or wat.. but i really find tt hard to believe..

so much for my 'season of sharing' shit.. hehehehehe

aiyoh mun introduce another aspect of love to us.. haha.. dark chocolate.. wat abt coffee? some ppl love it, some ppl think it is damn bitter n such. so lor, not everyone can appreciate it in its true form. tts y we have mocha.. hahha.. twisted form of coffee, but so much more acceptable? ;P

okie sorry i realise i am lost in wat i'm saying..

have got lots of updates on my these few weeks, but just mention last nite. went to winson's fren's party. wow, lots of eligible bachelors (a lot taken though haha) wahhahahaa.. the guys all got roaring drunk. and watched jackass. a really *painful* show, and the guys get such a kick from watching it and kept trying to act out 'nutball' scenes themselves. (in case u dunno, just means shooting balls between the guys' legs DUHHHHH) they were jsut too drunk, some started puking. and we had to leave a guy outside the house to sleep it off. hahahha.. and that guy has a pierced tongue! ~~~ lots of racing cars n such too, aussie culture for u!

tonight is xmas eve. having a small dinner party at winson's place wif his frens. tmrw shaun will be back and my own household is having a quiet "family" dinner by ourselves :P

so wat r u gals up to? mun, jiayou for next sem, i noe we always think our efforts r not equivalent to our results, but tts life for u, just keep up the good work!!! gotta go sew my jeans liao (the pants n jeans here r all so FREAKING LONG!!! sigh~) u gals take care n of cos, last but not least,

well i agree with wat yas mentioned abt the various dimensions of love. love is such an encompassing term applicable to all mankind.

u love your bf, u love yr mum, u love yr friends, so many people to share your love with. it is so amazing how much one can love if his heart allows him to. well then the focus of weihua is on bgr love huh.

once again, i will reassert my philosophy about love lurking everywhere. it is TRUE tat the more u try to find bgr love, the more it runs away from you. u cant force love out of anyone. love is never always sweet. i tink it is like eating a honey coated dark chocolate. falling in love is always so so sweet. it is only after u finished the honey coating, then u bite on the bitter part. here is the tricky aspect. dark chocolate has to be appreciated. u have to enjoy the bitterness of it all. well, as wat shakespeare said, the course of true love never runs smooth..... and another person said tat love is never a bed of roses. errr well i tink it might be. hahaha a bed of roses looks beautiful but prickly to juz prounce onto it. hmmmmm moral of the story?? never plunge into anything u r not sure. but then again no one can be sure of anything? haahaha the principle of uncertainty!!!!

muahahahahaha can u get my point now? love is something so complex tat u cant define it totally. u know it once u have experienced it. but one thing to be sure, trust is always an element of love. both of u trust tat each other will be there to help n support in times of need.

i am quite at ease with my results though i thought it wasnt quite as parallel with the amt of efforts i put into studying. (wat i tot was at a monstrous level) i got A, 3B+ and a B. but then my cap is still at 3.85..... not too gd for honours. the A was for my last paper n i even left 15mins earlier. strange world siah.

think im slightly sick due to the stay over at shangri-la the dae b4 ydae.they blasted the air con...*sniff*got a free stay coz my fren won the room from some ball hiak. naimun called for ktv, ani1 interested?dat gal works avdae, so is oni free next wk.

i'm having xmas gatherings here too. but it's not the same without u guys!!! sob sob.. miss all those big gatherings back home.. gals nite out, coffee at one fullerton, mahjongs at hua, my block outing, new yr eve parties, bbqs, etc etc.. sob sob.. but i've been to some of those major aussie event, like past sat i was at carols at the domain, there was SO MANY ppl there u won't believe it!! sang xmas carols n light candles, but sadly it was drizzling quite a bit.. :P

my sch starts on 1 march. xueling is flying over in late feb for her own course too. i wanna go NZ in Feb but still trying to save up enuf to go. sob sob.. air flights cost so much more cheaper it seems such a waste if i dun go while i'm here.. sigh sigh.. Middle Earth here i come!!! heheheheeh

hua, wif regards to ur last sentence (too lazy to reply the rest) if the person is waiting for u to show him n teach him love then how? aiyah love is not to be taught or showed one lah.. shldn't u just KNOW u love him? hrmppppp thought of the day..

2)abt the sad part...issit sad of no romance to go out wif or sad that u lost some1 who love u or some1 whom u love?

3)abt give n take: not possible to equalise but possible to give a selfless love to others, eg wat our parents and some special frens are showing to us.i realised that it is not possible to give the most of us to everyone; there is some special ones that we can do that only. search for the special one of urs and teh special one who can give u the most of his...love cant b forced in the first place, so no point blaming each other who gives each other the lesser. I rather wan love from the heart than the love that is ordered. so how much is enuff? only you know....

4)it is definitely a blessing to be loved, n ppl who have high esteem mayb will oni love some1 better than them. diff ppl have diff expectations from their other half. no one has teh right to sae who is right or wrong on that; the most impt thing is that YOU have to be very comfy wif your other half to begin wif and do not force your love, will never do ani good in long run, not oni u will b tired of it,ur other half will b suffering when he is ignored. ps. miss kong has extremely high esteem agreed? abt miss huang dilemna...no one can give u the right ans but urself. why are you happie? (coz u r loved or u r loving? or juz love the company?) why are you thinking of breaking? (tired of the rules of r/s and commitment and no urge to shower love?)what resist u from breaking? (the enjoyable company, the selfless love on u or the urge to love the one?)

the model ans can oni b found from urself: wat is ur true definition of love and r/s of urs. do not compare or seek the norm, for that will not reflect on wat u realli wan.
to me, a r/s shd be happie always and not have a bit of guilt or suffering or hardship.the nice things done on each other r from the urge of the heart, and touches not oni ur partner's but ur own heart and happiness will dwell from it. i am still living in my own fanstay.....

5)fear of commitment? i do not believe in this phrase if one finds his/her true love...i will cant waitto do everything and anithing for the person if i realli find the one. true for u?and if we realli love the person, we will b able to find excuses for some things our half never do and able to tolerate alot of things until the limit that we starting to love ourself more. so i believe taht the phhrase shd b rephrased to "fear of finding the wrong person and forced to commit"..

6)the main fear for me is that the guy does not know wat is a r/s and oni think of it as 2 person going out and enjoying each other company with minimum care and concern when needed.reason for that? love oneself more than the other, see ownself before the other, does not think of the other esp when it inconvience oneself.

wat is love? i am still waiting for the some1 to teach me and show me love.

wow, tts quite a bit of msgs left behind, and i think i'm a bit lost wif some of them..

first bit to kuangli, i din even noe u r attached! see lah, disappear from our group for so long then never update us somemore!!! who did u go korea wif? i wan to visit korea too, although u make it sound horrible, and i'm not into skiing. but then just like u said, wan to see other ppl's culture n livestyle. at least it's cheaper than japan mah!!! :P

i totally understand wat u mean by 'get on too fast, and needing a break to think'. i ALWAYS feel like tt, but of cos at the same time u will be thinking tt if u do tt u will be sad too. hrmp, life's like tt, it's all about choices, and we never noe if this step we r taking now is rite or wrong, but i do believe tt watever choice we make in our life, we shld never never look back n regret. cos tt will be the biggest mistake of our life! look ahead, and believe tt everything u do, there is a reason for it. =)

how did we get so philosophical? gosh, it's all stupid weihua's fault. hahaha.. i do agree wif yas on this, there is never balance between this giving n taking business. one party is always giving more, but soemtimes this person will complain n feel tt how come he/she is not receiving as much in return. but sometimes if he/she loves the other person enuf, he/she won't mind being the one who is giving more. so i guess it comes down to the fact whether u love him enuf? (okie, this might start off the question of "how much is enough?")

once, shaun told me this, to fall in love, u must feel that u r BLESSED and honoured to be loved by him/her. so if u think tt he/she is so good/eligible/etc etc, and why would he/she love u? then u r in love. shaun think ppl wif very high self esteem will find it very difficult to be able to fall in love, because u will never feel that the other person is better than u, and u will never feel tt u r 'honoured' to be loved by tt person. do u guys get wat i'm saying so far? sorry it's abit difficult to put it in words. but i think i do agree wif him. and i think sometimes i have too high a self esteem? do u guys think so?

i also think tt i dun wan to die not knowing what is LOVE. but i kinda gave up on tt notion, cos sometimes i think settling into 'comfortability' and being loved can be so sweet sometimes, u wonder y the hell u wan to go thru the pain of loving someone.

did i tell u gals i actually have the whole set of harry potters here? hehehehehe my fren left it wif me when she went back for summer. oh oh i got this collection of LOTR pins!!! each pin cost $2, wif a newspaper coupon, and must collect everyday for 18 days. i took photo of it will upload it soon.. hehee.. playing wif my digicam everyday! yeah!!!!! ;P but i dun think i will watch LOTR so soon, cos here the cinemas no seat number one, buy tickets liao still mut go queue for good seats. and how do we define what is unconditional love?

I don't really think we can ever equate GIVE and TAKE. One party always gives or receives more. Nothing is ever mutual.

Do we constantly keep in check of how much we are giving and receiving? Sadly, it is such typical human nature to place emphasis on the amount we are GIVING. And so we go off, we lament on how little we receive in return. But alas! We do not realise how much we have already taken.

Am I right to say this?

first of all, happy 'belated' birthday to mun! welcome to the ring of 22!

i was at a health facility conference lately... listening to speakers from different hospitals. Managed to go there cos my tutor invited me! It would have cost $900 to register for the conference! haha

Super hooked onto this manga and anime series these days... actually i watched it when i was 7 in HK. But then the craze returned after my brother left his comics lying ard and I grabbed it to read. He also bought the anime recently for me!! hahaa About 120 episodes in all, half an hour each. Watching vcds non-stop everyday!

Met up with Yeejen just now. It feels fantastic to meet up with old time friends after a long while.

As for the bit about unconditional love. I think everyone of us has that, if we look at it from a broader perspective. Love is more than just relationships between the opposite sexes. I think my parents have definitely showered me and my brother with unconditional love all these years. And I do believe that my friends show the same. Most of all, the greater being up there has given me unconditional love by blessing me with a sound mind and life. I guess I won't be gone without ever receiving that kind of love.

hi guys...


me just came back from korea today...it was a nice break away from the familiar grounds and people to explore new places and experience another culture. Well well, korea is definitely not what i expected it to be...apart from the fabulous skiing, the rest was really not fantastic..food really sucked...if i had stayed on for another week, i think i would starve to death. The koreans eat really simple. just put vege, lean meat, bean sprouts and all fry together on the hot plate..almost every meal was like that. Restaurants were small, only one toilet cubicle! Most koreans can't speak english or mandarin and their windows and doors alphabets were impossible to understand...things were quite expensive too...quite a dissapointment. Don't think i will go again in the near future..

Well, well...future is currently unknown...quite afraid actually..don't know whether i sould start work or continue with masters...hai...
As for love? hmm....i hope to find an answer too...we are super happy together, but things just got on too fast..does it sound silly to say, we take a break and be apart for me to find my answer? But i will also be very sad...oh god, help me....

haiyo, i followed my mum to malaysia since sat to company her...hoping my mum will b better from her depression. went to larkin bus terminal and found out there is no more bus straight to mersing, so took a bsu to koa tinggi, dan change a bus that stops frequently till mersing. heng the anuite who followed us knew wat to take, else me, my mum n sis will juz give up manz.

so we r there at 7, when we pass custom at 230, called my mum pri sch mate up who drove from endau to pick us up to their home. walu, endau to mersing takes 1/2 hr!

so we live in their house for 2 daes, and visisted some strange endau beach resort and my mum kunatan relatives. they keep insisiting kuatan is very near..in the end????2 hrs!!!!!wow, near to a malayasian is very "near".

so when visit 2 relatives at suburb, ate at kunatan, we came back to endau at nite. walu, i slept during the trip and even back to her house! damns hack leh to tarvel.

dan i reaturn to jb in teh aftern and ate seafood wif nus fren at nite....

conclusion...very shack...

wat is love? love is dimenionless; my definition is the unconditional u give to the other......

Hey guys, suddenly remembered that that this msg board existed and came to check it out after such a loooooooong time....have been feeling rather isolated from the world for a long time and its really time that i start catching up with old time friends...really nice to know how you guys are from the messages. :)

Paiseh that i was not able to join you guys are friday..actually just came back from a canoeing expedition and totally worn out. disgustingly sunburnt and extremely tired...busy letting off all the steam accumulated during the awful exam time..it was a really tough time to pass...

last nite i went chiong dispite my early deadline of my fyp (which im still despitely lagging behind)
i went becoz....THE SELL BREAD ONE WENT!!!!
sob, found out he didnt crush one me!!!(found out thr a sly way..asked him to find up a "love calculator" thingy where ppl put their crush names on, upon clicking enter...the list was sent to the sender...) I look at the list...there are three names yet none is my name!!!Sob.....

but still, i went to chiong wif him n some other common frens of us...he wasnt drunk!!!when the other 2 guy frens did...(sheat, my evil plot cant succeed) aniway....i pei him to look after his gd buddy, sat there for awhile without chiong, aniway, the song sux.top40s...

after lights on, a guy said wanna go fong seng eat, so the seel bread one, the guy and their drunk fren and me of coz (xun lu) when to eat, dan they drop me off at hv after supper. the sell bread one got to alight coz he wasnt xun lu to follow the other 2 guy. dan he saw me back to my house!!!yuppie!!! (well, i would sae it is juz an act of gentlemanness)

in office now! it's a law firm, i'm the legal clerical assistant. hahaha basically i'm the secretary lor! my fav job! haha.. it's a bit stressful cos i can't catch the aussie slang very well and i am supposed to type out lots of mails my boss dictated on the tape. it's pretty cool though.. however this' not a full time job! i came in this week for 2 days cos one of their staff fell ill. so i dunno whether they will actually employ me on a more permanent but part time basis or not...

am going for this other admin job, which is really far out, like 30 mins train ride at least. i mean it doesn't make sense for one to STAY in shenton way and WORK in Tuas rite? tts my situation now... so not sure if i wan to keep tt job. am on the lookout for other jobs too. going for a Lexisnexis job testing session tmrw. they seem to call in a lot of ppl so i'm not having much hope wif tt job, which is acutally more of a research assistant job cos tts a publishing firm mah..

I am not sure what they stand for but this is about lifestyle. Mine is the "take life as it comes" whereas jieying's choice would be the "plan for the future" I couldnt quite decide bet the 2 as well cos the whole thing depends on my mood and the kind of thing i am doing. But overall i prefer to keep flexible.
I can easily qualify for a introvert as well. I remembered we actually took a longer version of this test before and i fell on the extrovert side but was actually a borderline case.
The second and third section on "method of learning" and "making decisions" is correct.
I think the results are quite true...

Tomorrow is hols!!! So i am very happy hehehe....can take some time to read my books, though i bought this set of global economic review notes home to read also. Think my mentor printed and left it on my table for some time already but i haven touch yet.
After sleeping over the weekend, i felt so much better today, not so dead as last week. The sat thing at ECP was a total waste of time. If thats the kind of organising ability and efficiency the bank has then i think it is not going to do very well in the long run. Overall i think my office quite happening, think they organise regular trips together.

heee one more paper to go!!!

today's paper was alright. wont do bad but i dun tink i will do TAT well. mayb a B. hmmmm cos the class only got 63 people!!! n quite a handful got like above 40/50 for our mid term quiz...... hmmm those people have oreadi chopped the seats for the As.... damn the stupid cumulative freq distribution. i want a B+!!! ;p

was back in my room at around 11.30am. i am so unlucky today! i wanna get some instant noodles to stock up in my room. went to the supermart in pgp n bought some stuff. errr actually quite alot! i cant resist!!!! sobsob spent about 14bucks..... oh no.... cozi's chessecake is busted...... *tears rollin down cheeks* then i forgot to bring my atm card. no cash on me liao. went back to room n down again. i bought the Amoy hargow! can microwave one. i wan so eager to eat it! put in microwave then tot it was ready but then it was still hard. so put it into the microwave for another few mins. i was so hungry..... saw my friend n tok to her abit. then we smelt something burning. my poor 3bucks hargow was gone!!!! argh argh argh the entire bowl was spoilt...... the bowl can withstand microwave but the hargow stuck to the bowl n i cant use it anymore........... lucky got instant noodles then can hav a lunch tat could be much more satisfying

then i cleaned up my room!!!! yeah yeah swept up all that hair n rearranged my stuff abit. now it looks more like a room fit for a girl to stay in! heee =)

did so much stuff juz to postpone havin to start studyin for the friday's paper. okie muz start now!!

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

Thackeray
1 1/2 cups Semi-sweet choco chips
1/2 cup Sugar
1 package 8oz cream cheese -- softened
1 package 3oz cream cheese -- softened
1/4 cup Butter or margarine -- softened
2 cups Frozen whipped topping -- thaw
1 6oz pkg graham cracker crust

In small microwave-safe bowl place chocolate chips. Microwave at high 1 to 1-1/2 min or until chips are melted and mixture is smooth when stirred. Set aside to cool. In large mixer bowl beat cream cheese, sugar and butter until smooth. On low speed blend in melted chocolate. Fold in whipped topping until blended; spoon cheese mixture into crust. Cover; chill until firm.
You can garnish with whipped topping
and some shaved chocolate.

i am so bored n sick of studying...... sure, i was damn motivated but then my exams dragged on for much too long for me to sustain my motivation......

kinda proud tat i am studying this much! i mean, i never really studied this much since the big As. seriously, i noe i spent time with u gers at the library in the name of mugging. but then all i ever remembered doing in the nj library was sleeping in those brown cubicles, smuggling snacks into the library n tats it!!! kinda surprised i got away with a pretty reasonable set of grades tat got me this far.

now in my errrr 5th semester in nus or my 7th semester at tertiary education, i am NOW only studyin hard from day to night. three papers went by. know i will do pretty well for them. my hard work n efforts wont fail me.

but the day before my 3rd paper (friday) i was feeling so empty....... i had in fact finished doing watever i am supposed to studyin for tat module. i no longer noe wat to study anymore. u noe how boring it gets when u hav to read the same thing again n again for the umpteen times! i started surfin n downloading stuff to watch. i am dying to get out of pgp! i spent my last few weeks here in nus n this place doesnt interest me anymore! the whole day went by without much intellectual events or exciting happening. i was suddenly subsumed in guilt. i should b studying not bumming around. it got to me! i was too overwhelmed n i was at a loss not knowing how to react to that weird mixture of feelings. when cozi called, i suddenly juz broke down.... oh gosh.... he was caught by surprise n dinnoe wat to do....i tink i scared him but he was calm n nice enuff to let me off the phone to cool down. i was also shocked by myself. i have always been way too cool about my exams all this 21 years but why am i suddenly so uptight about it???
he thought he cooped me up too much in my room n we went out together to town. feels gd breathin non-clementi air....

i find myself obsessively doing a ritual of calculating my projected CAP after every paper.... i wanna noe how far am i away from the honours cutoff.... oh man.... i am going crazy!!! blame it on nus!!! hrmp.......

i am okie now. got my period juz this morning so i tot tat outburst can be attributed to hormones surges. yah yah it is all estrogen's fault.

I am immensely insulted... here's the story

I was recommended by my neighbour to give English tuition to two girls, who are her friend's daughters. (*note it's English tuition)

and so the mum gave me a call just now and asked me if I am competent for the job and asked me what faculty I am in. (What the hell?? she's so darn blunt!) Next, she insulted architectural students by claiming that we have nothing to do with languages. Then, she tried to cheat me by saying tt she wants a 2 hour session with each of her daughter when we had originally agreed on 1 and a half hours a few weeks ago. I am furious because she insisted on giving me on the same amount of salary, which is a miserable sum of 300 bucks ($180 for sec 4 and $120 for pri. 6)

ok, that's not all, she ends by saying that she does not feel 'confident', 'at-ease' or rather that 'I am incompetent' to teach her precious daughters who are at the most crucial years of their education. And that she is calling me because she's giving her friend 'face' and trying to 'help poor old me'. (What help?? since when did I request for HER help?!?! Bitch!)

mind ya, I was so darn polite throughout the entire conversation. She yakked on and on abt how architectural students have no relation to languages and that we are INCAPABLE of 'O'-level and Pri 6 English. And so I let her say her piece.

Finally, I decided that I shouldn't tolerate her anymore and I curtly told her this: (exact words)

"Look here lady, if I can make it all the way to University, I am sure I AM COMPETENT to teach your kids. It's not as if I haven't given English tuition before. By the way, Architectural Students DO know English. Just in case you didn't know, all our courses are conducted in English. Yours truly here, am writing a ten thousand words thesis, in English, and I am certain that I am more familiar with the English language itself than both your daughters combined. I think you are looking for a professor to teach your daughters instead."

This week has been very tiring, Tues went dinner and KTV until very late cos we have a division gathering then yesterday and today had to go Tampines for training. Imagine travelling from one end of singapore to the other. Tomolo got work half day then got another Co activity at ECP. so it will be a whole day thing again......I have been struggling to keep awake using coffee..... but the problem is drink too much coffee at night cannot sleep..... how?? so kelian......

ya i def not coming back for hols lah. cos there is absolutely no tickets till after xmas, and i dun think i shld waste tt $1k to fly back for less than 2 months only. my class starts on 1st march see... i'm currently applying for jobs. did i mention this guy called me up 3 days ago, and they sound desperate, but i only finish next wed! so i think they would have found someone else by then, and dun need me anymore... sob sob~ most of my sporean frens r flying back to spore!!! and theresa is going back taiwan for at least 1 month or so.. shaun is going perth for a month in late feb (luckily they won't be away AT THE SAME TIME though..) so i'm trying to figure out all those ppl who r going to be ard and hang on to them tight! hahaha.. no $$ to travel ard aus, and i have been to goldcoast/brisbane and melbourne, so no where really worth it to go. prob wan to visit tasmania and perth but both are too far and will cost quite a lot, so rather go NZ if i have to spend tt $$. aiyah, but most impt is find job and earn $$ first!!!! :P

so anyone have any travelling plans? can come visit me hehehhe.. or grad tour? i noe tts more than half a yr away but must plan in advance so can save money for it mah! :P i'm thinking if i shld go NZ if i save enuf money. cos i dun think i will have enuf money to go Europe or States! hehehehehe... but then start work then no time off liao.. sob~

too sianz.. gotta hit the books again. studies going real bad.... tonight got rugby match somemore! exciting one.. NZ v Aust. not tt i'm into rugby but NZ is really good and i'm in the land of the wallabies in any case......... :P

i getting sick, got this bad bad flu.. must be due to the cold weather these days.
Today i went shopping for working clothes, spent over $200 i think on 2 tops, 1 pants and 2 skirts. Thinking of getting a black jacket too but not sure if it will be needed.....they may not be so formal. i already got one dark grey one but it wont match with the rest of my black bottoms. Then i also thinking of getting a pair of black boots to match my pants.... heheh but this can wait a while, mean while can wear my sis's shoes. Actually last week i already bought a new swatch watch and wallet. heheh.... seems like i am buying a lot of things right? Cos this 1 week plus break, i got nothing much to do mah. Anyway i dont do this very often...... the last time i bought so many things was in July. Now already Nov....hehehh......

heee xq actually icq me about our outing. was quite surprised cos she seldom so on one. heheee actually we wanted to meet up but then weihua say she wants to study. well.... i actually wanted to as well but ended up going to town to watch Kill Bill. jus realise the vcd my fren lend me is NOT 'turn left, turn right'. it's got the words 'xiang zuo, xiang you' too, but it's 'xiang zou ai, xiang you ai' instead of 'xiang zuo zou, xiang you zou'. it's a korean movie. so weird~ i wan the HK 'turn left, turn right'!!!!!!!!

read my msg subject n tat basically summarises it all. not even johnny depp n antonia banderas n salma hayek can resurrect (tink i spelt it wrongly...hee) the show.

it is boring..... although the pace picks up towards the end, the action still doesnt compensate for it. emmm should i say there was minimal action. low quality ones in fact. juz some shootin here n there n jumpin around. johnny depp lost his eyes, got shot in his knees n dropped to the floor.

johnny depp wasnt very bad in the show. juz tat he stole some lines from pirates... hahaha u noe how he always say, savvy, in pirates when he is checkin if people understand. he did tat in mexico in the exact same mannerisms!!! gosh! hahaha nothing really funny about the show, juz tat it is rather hua ji.....

the parts with johnny depp are actually the funniest but still....... *roll eyes* u see, there isnt many of those scenes....

i give it a grade B-. the show is originally graded C by me but since my love for johnny depp from pirates is still very much overwhelmin in me, i decided to moderate my grading for it. heeee

i heard tat infernal affairs 2 is great! i dunno.... dun really fancy sequels although i always watch them. think abt tomb raider 2, rush hour 2, scary movie 2, ring 2 n blair witch 2..... oh man.....

tinkin of watchin it.... will let u all know the review. hee infernal affairs 1 was fantastic though. so rent a vcd or sth if u havent watch it

i haven't caught pirates of the carribean!! SOB SOB SOB!! n practically EVERYONE have! so tts tt.. will it totally spoil the effects for me if i catch the vcd instead? hrmp.. cos i think watching 'finding nemo' on vcd (half on laptop somemore! haiz!) and in the theatre r SUCH different experience!! the colours were beatiful in the cinema!

i think mun n cozi caught the latest johnny depp show rite? i heard cozi telling me it sucks big time! yas, did u actually watch it??? wats the name anyway? aussie is very on abd the sequels, ie. legally blonde II, bad boys II, tomb raider II.. wats showing in spore?

a falling tree makes sound waves but not sound. sounds are what our brain perceive sound waves to be. they are defined as internal representations of the world. without our brain to perceive the incomin sound waves, there is no sound. unless, we are at the forest to hear the sound waves the fallin tree makes, there is technically no sound.

tats what i learnt in my biological psychology class. interesting, isnt it?

i am now reading a book entitled Science of Harry Potter. it discusses the feasibility of floo powder, portkey, nimbus 2000 and all the magical phenomenon. and also how us muggles have managed to develop stuff close to wat the wizards have done.

ha, naimun seems to start loving to go for lessons! hiak. ydae i went for lunch, saw vincent n 2 of his guy friends; the same guy whom he "admired" and hang out wif av moment. i wore quite nice dat dae, so i wang up n down his table, while toking to my friends. (i purposely walked there, although got other paths) felt so proud of myself suddenly,hiak. dat he broke up wif me at his own lost. i wun patch back wif him, he dun have the "love" element on me.

my day was eventful too! Went to KK at 8am and people watched for abt 2 hours, then went on to Changi for another 2 hrs.... and finally at Alexandra for another 2.

it was tiring!! but it's funny to see how others react, when i pretended to be 'lost' and asked for directions. Some of the staffs were wondering what on earth is this person doing in the hospital, loitering abt!

It's interesting isnt' it? to know that while u are in the midst of watching others, somebody is also watching you.. ha

firstly, i got up late for my tutorial n then i contributed alot during tutorial n i am the only one in my group who has read the readings n prepared for the class. *smug look*

then, i met a friend whom i have not seen for a long time. had lunch together n managed to pian him to come to see my jap dance practice. he refused to try wearin the jap kimono!

i had 4 hours of dance practice n my teacher kept praising me *SMUG look again* heeee she even said that i am to be on this performing item tat is usually reserved for very gd dancers. the dance item is a very longn difficult one. the steps are not repetitive so u have completely different moves for the whole dance. she is going to bring a set of very elaborate kimono for me to wear!!!yippee!! another 2 senior would perform with me.... heee grin grin grin

i was so engrossed in dancing tat i forgot tat i hav a tutorial. when i realised, i told myself never mind, juz skip tat tutorial is ok one. tat was at 4.30pm n then at 5.40pm, i juz suddenly, really all of a sudden, it dawned upon me tat i need to go to this tutorial which i gladly decided to skip to hand in my paper which is due at 4.45pm!!! i gasped n i hav to quickly changed out of the kimono n rushed to the lecture theatre but then my lecturer was not there. apparently he has let the class go earlier. i panicked cos he is a part timer in nus n god knows if he has left the campus oreadi. i rushed to the dept, not knowing where his office is, searched around for a bit n i finally saw his office. knocked on the door. n it was such a relief to hear his reply..... he was very kind. gave him a long story abt why i was late but he kept giving me the why-u-need-to-tell-me-so-much-look.... he even went thru wat he talked about in class. they discussed the mid term quiz answers n he took the trouble n time to go thru it with me..... so nice of him.... now i cant bear to sleep durin his lecture anymore.... he can b quite sleep inducing.... hahaha i feel so so so glad now! heee

another test to go. n i havent even studied yet.... lost that motivation but i would pick up cos no harry potter to distract me. heee

tmrw have to accompany my jap dance teacher to clementi interchange to buy fruits. hahaha i cant believe it.... was supposed to accompany her to dinner juz now but i managed to squeeze out of it cos my juniors took her to dinner instead.

okie better start studying now liao

i have finished harry potter!!!!
cant deny tat it is rather electrifying n gripping as wat the book cover said. heee i cant put it down! i have to coax myself to stop and use the book as a reward to myself for finishin my homework. tat was how i got thru 3 sets of readings in 2 hrs! hahaha after one reading, i will read 2 chapters of harry potter.

interestingly, i was very tired the other night from studyin n i wanted to sleep so much. i tot i would juz lie on bed n go to sleep immediately. but then i kept thinkin about the book n i cant help it but switch on the lights again n pick up the book. hahaha before i noe it, another hour has passed without feelin any tinge of the weariness i had when i was studyin...... strange thing.... magic huh? ;p

i cant wait for the end of this week to come cos tat will signal the end of my hell weeks of tests n papers!!! wooooohooo!

heee and i am so so so glad to announce that my blood test is normal!!! although some of the figures show tat i am slightly low than the normal range for certain aspects but the doc say i am normal.

strangely, after that day, i feel better now the headache n fever are gone. except for the cough..... heeee feel so silly now tat i kicked up a big fuss abt the whole episode....

but still puzzled by the onset of all those minor illnesses.... hmmmm psychological origin?? guess i will have to cure myself now ;p

oh yah now i am keepin a journal of my medical ailments n medications i have taken. this will help me keep track. jieying n yas, mayb u two should do tat too. help u relate any medical condition to the doc easier.

have been workin at kk hosp measuring temp so i am now very shu with that hosp liao heee

hmmm answers to your qns
2) kk hosp is divided into two towers, namely the women's and children's towers. therefore, there are also two main entrances to the hospital from the front. so visitors have to already decide which tower to go before reachin kk hosp or else it will be quite confusing for them. despite the two towers being linked at several levels, visitors still get confused.

there are big coloured directional maps before the entrances but as they were labeled in english only, the chinese, malay n indians n all those who do not understand english do not find it helpful.

a gd landmark for kk hosp is the big garden between the two towers. that is often a meeting point for people. the two towers acually have a converging area in between them which houses the garden, taxi stand n main foyer. quite hard to put into words ah. but tink u shld have paid the hospital a visit oreadi rite?

the signs have been moderately helpful. arrows in 2D are not always very helpful n the arrows kk hosp used dont really serve very illustrative purposes. rather confusing, i would say.....

hmm come to tink of it, the directions to the laboratory n some clinics are very confusing.

I am currently doing a thesis on Wayfinding in Hospitals and I need you guys to help me out:

I am studying the ease of wayfinding in 4 local hospitals:
1) NUH
2) Alexandra Hospital
3) KK Hospital
4) Changi Hospital

Will you gals kindly give me some of your comments on these 4 hospitals? (if you have visited anyone of them at all.)
issues like:

1) What was your purpose in visiting the hospital?

2)How easy was it for you to find your way from one place to another? (right from the main road to the entrance of the hospital to the internal spaces e.g. clinics, wards, shops..etc)

3)Have you ever got 'LOST' in a hospital? (E.g. lose your way, heightened level of anxiety)

4)Which was the place that you most remembered along the whole 'wayfinding' process (finding your way in the hospital)? (for example: a landmark, a special garden, a resting area...etc)

5)What are some of the elements in the hospital which you feel have aided you when you are finding your way? (E.g. signages, information counter...etc)

The questions I have posted are quite general, these are still 'preliminary'. I just wanna find out what are some of the general feelings towards wayfinding in the local hospitals. If you have any other comments, please tell me as well!

One of my collegues has the book and i borrow. Nicer than movie.... the ending and beginning a bit different from the movie. Makes you think a lot......maybe the person you just share a lift with is the person for you but you just never get to know each other. quite sad......

me pms on fri...dan sat continued till sundae. originally suppose have tuition, i didnt double cfm, dan in the end i wasted my trip. im quite sad n lost dan, n told vincent i was sad n dun wan to go hm...he jzu told me go hm quickly. i didnt reply him, dan he called me..i was tearing liao n sounded very sad...so i didnt tok to him much, he didnt oso.

in the end he didnt come n find me, which if he did i will b so happie...n he continued his schedule to watch soccer wif his frens at boonlay at 10 plus. then was 9, he had car.

the next dae i asked him to explain his actions, he juz said he didnt tot of find me dat dae, n he didnt expect to disrupt his soccer watching wif his guy frens. i told him the incident make him see himself n make me see himself.... it is always the immediate reaction dat is the natural...he said now come to dink abt it, he feel he shd b blame for not finding me...

he is so jialat, y i made myself b wif him for so long

mun take care!!! i dun think it's serious, cos remembered i also went thru this period of 'lots of weird weird sickness' and i dun think it was sth serious in the end. actually till now i still not sure, and i do get some funny funny symptoms here now n then. but like yas said, it's really mostly down to stress n change in environment or sth recently. dun worry too much!!! and i think chinese med do wonders for u when western dun. a lot of western docs r pretty bad, like i saw so many different one n they can't tell u wat the hell is wrong wif u.

but all the same hope ur tests go well.. take care ya!!!!

anyway, i went to see the sch doctor today n she told me to go back again next week for a battery of tests.... urine test n blood test (gasp....) n etc

she was suspectin tyroid cos my voice sounded animated! hahaha but i always have this voice....

feelin kinda relieved now cos i dun hav to pay for those tests. whew.... only need to pay for the medications.

Dear Mun,
I think it may just be stress. In the past, I used to get headaches and fever quite often.
or it could be the environment. find out if there is any particular place that u frequent recently and made u feel REALLY uncomfortable.
or, it might be ur biological changes: like the circulation of blood flow isn't 'smooth' enough, the food u take also affect it.
tell u what, if u are really repulsive towards western medicine, why don't u try chinese ones instead? There is one at Chinatown point, cost abt 20 bucks and u can try Thong Chai hospital, it's free of charge but the queue is quite long.
Don't worry too much about tumour (when there isn't one!!) some of this kind of illnesses are triggered by psychological effect.
So, if u think u are going to get well, you will!

i am sick again!!! i hav been sick so many times this semester... headaches, flu, fever.... though my temp doesnt reach 38 n it wavers around 37.4 but that is well above my normal body temp.....n i feel cold.....

i am worried that there mayb a tumour in my brain or something equally severe.... i wanna see a doctor to consult professional advice about this. i have seen one before when i had such a splittin headache in the night that i hav to go to clinic at around 11pm..... told the doc about my worries but he juz insisted tat it is juz a lack of sleep. not totally convinced though... n i dun wan to spend too much money on any possible treatment... my family's financial state is oreadi bad enuff.... sigh

i am sick again!!! i hav been sick so many times this semester... headaches, flu, fever.... though my temp doesnt reach 38 n it wavers around 37.4 but that is well above my normal body temp.....n i feel cold.....

i am worried that there mayb a tumour in my brain or something equally severe.... i wanna see a doctor to consult professional advice about this. i have seen one before when i had such a splittin headache in the night that i hav to go to clinic at around 11pm..... told the doc about my worries but he juz insisted tat it is juz a lack of sleep. not totally convinced though... n i dun wan to spend too much money on any possible treatment... my family's financial state is oreadi bad enuff.... sigh

anyway today i went to the popular imax theatre with ricky at great world city. we watched Everest! pretty cool n the effects were great. there was a scene showing the deep crevasses of the khumbu icefall near the base camp n u feel as if u r really standing on the ladder spanning over the two ridges..... breathtaking! n another scene has the camera filming the avalanche. u can hear the roars of the fast rushin snow and the snow knocks over the camera n complete darkness. it strikes me with fear n awe for mother nature!!!

then when the show ended, we went out to the main lobby where all the entrances to the other movie theatres are n i juz decided to take a peep in the gold class theatre! pirates of caribbean was showing!! n there were no gv staff n plenty of empty seats (not that there were a lot of seats inside in the first place) n we went in and sat down for a gd 30mins! the seats were real armchairs with footrests and a blanket is even provided to keep each cinema patron warm n snuzzy..... wonder how expensive those tickets are. n i tink u gers shld try doing wat i did n mayb get to sit thru a free movie. ricky n i didnt do tat cos we have both watched the show n it is not too fun to watch a show when u can predict wat will happen next.... heee ;p

i even took him on a washroom tour in great world city. heee all the toilets have their own design themes.. the coolest is the japanese themed. the ladies n gents have different designs n the artwork is gd. africa, netherlands, spain, venice n wild wild west are a few other themes.

i think those major brands often have promotions for their computers and it all sounds pretty good bargain. not much pt to get bundle nowadays cos i think both mine at home which r bundled, r crap! sheesh. if u wan to do bundle, really must get computer expert to help u :P

assemble computer? juz ask the shop to asemble for u, they will oni charge u at worse 50 dollar more, if u buy alot of stuff from them, they may even charge u free....

but try nt to buy bundle....muz noe which is the better stuffs dan buy, dun thing bundle r cheap dan go for it, some component cannot make it....

wow i'm suitably impressed by naimun, not the conductor! hahahah so she's doing all these research, and not reading her textbook. hrmp.

still can't say much for myself, read some notes over the weekend but none seem to have gone into my head. sheesh.

i did some online research n gosh! i was so wrong abt the conductor. his role is so impt but at the same time, he is similar to a quarterback or baseball pitcher who receive credits for gd play. y? becos he is aware tat he wouldnt b able to conduct a gd piece without the talents and teamwork of the ensemble.

the whole is definitely much bigger than its part! this sentence really describes very well how an orchestra works while bringin together so many different muscial talents who have to put aside their individual styles and to get use to the conductor's style. apparently, the conductor interprets a composer's piece and comes up with his own interpretation and instructs his ensemble to play the piece to his assigned pace n manner.... wow!

and i even read tat if a listener is experienced enough, one can even tell the nationality of the composer, be it british, russian, french, austrian n so on, from the multifaceted sounds of the music..... AWESOME!!!

there's someone (cant remember the name) who composed a piece designed to be played by 1000 musicians n his composition is often touted as the aptly named Symphony of a Thousand. as such performances entails alot of logistical n obvious economical costs, modern performances of this piece is usually scaled down to 500 players.... but still.... i juz hav to say i am now so bowled over by classical music

yeah i heard from cozi abt the symphony. he was so worried and paiseh tt he got the wrong stuff! he got it cos he knew u love dance mah.. in the end turn out to be symphony! but glad u enjoyed it! i would have LOVE it too! i like orchestra stuff, the music just sounds so grand n everything! next time when we working, then will have money to go.. now no money lah.. ahha. although most ppl say we shld go sydney opera house just to experience it! but then according to my fren who has been here for 5yrs, she say the opera house play mainly local productions. those major international performance (eg. phantom, cats) r usually held at another entertainment centre, so not much chance to go opera house, unless u r willing to pay tt kind of money to watch local production! i saw some harbour cruise thingy combined wif symphony and dinner, is like 120++ or sth! haha

yeah i am recruited by nus' office of international relations as a student helper in conducting campus tours!

the pay is decent. $8.50 an hr n u basically juz bring the students around in sch. a coach is even provided so not much walking. i juz need to talk to them abt the sch n share my student experiences with them.

my first tour will b on the 23rd aug. i will be in charge of a grp of Asean n PRC potential nus students. this tour is actually held in conjunction with STB's efforts to promote spore as an educational hub.

i got this lobang becos i accompanied ricky on a similar campus tour n i sort of became one of the impromptu student guides when the grp went to pgp n i gave them a small tour around it. apparently, the staff frm the office of intl relations like my style! hahaha n he asked me to help them out.

yeah yeah more money *keching*

there are very nice museums in nus. new ones at UCC (university cultural centre) pretty cool

to those still in nus, we can go ucc to visit the museums one day. FREE!!! heee

hey gers

i went to a symphony concert last wk with cozi!!! read: SYMPHONY!!!hahaha

actually we tot it was a dance thingy. cos cozi read in a sistic brochure tat the title for the concert is dances of the world n we never read those small prints n bought the tix!!! hahaha then we went to the concert hall at esplanade n we saw the whole orchestra occupyin the entire stage! no room for any dancers.....

hahaha so dumb of us. but we still enjoyed the concert. the orchestra performed pieces tat r used in ballet n dance pieces. not boring nor sleep inducin at all. the pieces they played were rather dancey

instead, it was very interestin to see how the various section of the orchestra get ready for their turns. the percussionists, in particular are very eng eng cheng cheng. hahaha sometimes, i see them wait for the entire piece to be over before they get ready. but then, percussion is the most impt part of the orchestra, i believe. cos the absence of a litte ting ting frm the small triangle makes a big diff to the whole experience of the piece.

then i am still trying to figure out the role of the conductor..... nobody seems to look at him.... haha other than pacing the music, wat else does he do????

yeah classical music is cool!!! hahaha ;p

dear all,

haven't been up here for a long time...

going through a really tough period right now.

my dad just had 3 major operations within a month. The doctors have confirmed that he has cancer and that the surgery couldn't completely remove all the bad cells. We were told that both radio and chemotherapy won't be effective, so we are against the idea of letting my dad go through both treatments.

I could still remember the night of my dad's third operation (on the 17th), the surgeon had told us tt it would only be a 3-hour op, but my dad wasn't out until 6 hours later. My mum and I were frantic, waiting outside the OT door. Right afterwards, my dad was sent to ICU unit. Even till today, images of my dad lying in ICU are still fresh in my mind. It was terrible to see my dad so helpless, strapped at both ankles and wrists, with tubes and needles poked into various parts of his body.

not going to tell the full story here...
right now, he is slowly on the road of recovery (although the cancer cells are still ard.) but at the very least, his life is out of danger, my family and I will just have to take a step at a time. We are thinking of taking him to Chinese physicians instead but that will happen only when he's fully recovered.

will just take a step at a time and see how things go...

I dun agree with jieying. To me, Vinc sounds quite self centred. I think it is not" Strong to know what you want" but too self centred to changed. After all, Hua did not ask for a big change in his lifestyle but only some attention and concern. That is something you can even get from your close friends so if your partner can't even fulfil this, how can he be someone who is going to share your life? We are talking about sharing your life, not living together like 2 seperate entities. If want to live together like 2 seperate entities, you dun need to have a boyfriend, just get a housemate. I know ppl always think i dun wan to change myself to accomodate other ppl and so i dun wan other ppl the change themself to accomodate me too. But it is hardly possible since hardly any couple is totally complementary. A bit of change and accomodation is always needed.
But anyway, i agree that Hua should just put him behind and look for someone more suitable.

ahhhhhh i think i agree wif vinc in this case. i'm never one for 'changing urself to be wat ur partner want u to be'! and in this case, i supposed it's true. vinc's character is just like tt, and since hua is not happy wif it, then just let go lor. no pt changing him into someone u like. cos it just mean tt u could have settled for ANYBODY, and change tt person to be wat u wan! so good for vinc, at least he realise this pt himself. meaning he is strong enuf to noe wat he wan in life!

na, he met me todae, we tok abt avthing but our bgr.
he wrote me a note that saes sometime like we have diff expectations....he said his basis is to live a happie life.... he said he dun wanna b compared to anything in terms of personality and behaviour.he wanna be himself as far as he can try to adjust wifout changing himself. he said he is born this way and he is proud of himself so should me. he said he cant match up avthing my fren did and he dun wanna promise anything juz to aviod disappointment.he said dat the most happiest time we had mayb as a fren ....i wun b upset, he wun have to b so loaded emotions... to stay as frens means we can so like the rest of my frens....and no burden....

haven't found accomodation and kinda gave up on it. going to stay temporary somewhere first, then see how.

just came back from doing my medical checkup at JB. this overseas thingy is really costing a bomb! visa application itself cost me abt AUS$400, and with aussie dollar REAL strong now, comes up to abt RM1100++. and today's medical checkup also cost quite a bit for practically nothingness.. then there is the overseas health cover, the accomodation over there.. the air tic now, have to get a laptop, etc etc, i wanna die liao.. think next time have to plan my finances more in advance! urgh..

anyway i can't get SIA tickets, so more or less, i'll be flying from m'sia, ard the 20th. which is in less than 2 weeks time! *gasp* can't believe time flies so fast... qi, will try to meet u this sunday or sth to pass u back ur book! need to return some stuff to my spore frens too.. or they will be missing their stuff for half a yr at least!

About my financial advisor thing, we sell insurance( life, saving plan etc.....) and loans for cars and houses and investments stuff like unit trust or managed funds and a lot other stuff from many other companies as well as self developed. Dont remember now.

But i am still taking exam. Got 3!!! and need 75% to pass one...... how come malaysia one so easy...... not fair........i still need to go for 1 final interview with the boss and pass the exams before i get started.

I checked out those financial advisor jobs from banks also. Althought they have basic salary, they need to meet certain sales quota to get it . Plus commission lower. Think super stressed. At least this is more relaxed, no quota and better training.

hmmmm actually quite hesitant about this job but i thought might as well try. At least i will know if i can make it or not. heheh...... not so keen on selling to friends cos i know most ppl very adverse to such thing. So have to try cold call kind of thing.But you all must give me a chance and listen to me next time okie hehhe let me practise my presentation mah at least. Not forcing you all to buy okie ( dont wan you all to get mistaken ideas then dun wan go out with me). I also know most of us are poor students. Can recommend your richer friends to me instead hehehe

Also sending out some other applications. Hopefully can get some responses then i can have more choices. hehehe.......

Today i teach a RV class, sec 2 maths. Very crappy one. But quite okie they quite smart so dun need long explanations.

just came back from JB. have paid up my first semester fees! urgh. so tts final i guess. however i still dun feel the "finality" in it. can still get back 90% of it if i pull out before class commences. so i think i shall only start tuning my mind when i start doing my visa! airline tickets r horrible though.. SIA is fully booked ard the dates i wanted, and MAS does not have student px, and i'll be flying from senai, johor, and transit in KL. dumb man.

anyway i'm still scared of the tot of studying. i'm sooooo lazy! think i'm still in the 'i've graduated from 10 yrs of slogging, pls let me rest' mood. urgh!

ah well qi i can't seem to read the next 2 books liao. no time to get them from u AND return them to u before i leave! but i think i would like to read 'tuesday wif morris'. mun has been singing its praises too... next time k? take a queue no. first :P will try to return u potter 5 soon though no worries there. n of cos, u r welcome for the present :P

wat r the financial advisors exams like? is it like those unit trust thingy? think my bro took them when he was in citibank. the bank paid for everything n send them for courses, all expenses paid for, in KL quite often. my bro n i r taking insurance exams this sat. signed up for it in a moment of boredness more than a month ago! kinda boring.. been mugging a little.. but then ppl keep saying it's going to be dead easy. just need to get 40% correct! still.. can't be too complacent ya... anyway it's just so we dun need to pay extra commission when we do buy insurance ourselves, and of cos, to tell the insurance ppl straight in the face, i'm an agent myself! do u wan to buy from ME? ;P still.. overall.. i think insurance is good. mun will DEF benefit from it!! hahaha get the endowment one. force u to save! :P :P

yas, $1500 is the norm now!!! most grads r offered those rates!!! in fact, engineers too, also their norm pay LAST TIME used to be more than 2k. for us, ONLY big 4 accounting firms offer u 2k (however, EY is cutting to 1.5k, rumours say). the rest of the accountancy firms, depend on ur luck, can vary from 1.3 to 1.6!! often there is a probation period of 3 months, after tt may rise jus tt tiny weeny bit. tts y i dun wan to work there! so lor, dun think accountants r good, it's just that there is a bigger market for us, so our grad employment rate is much higher than other grads. we also dun have OT pay u noe!!!! for the big 4 firms, i heard u can claim 'time off', meaning u did 5 hour OT u can take 5 hour worth of leave during ur offpeak period. but then it depends on if ur sup approves ur OT hours. u have to proof tt ur 8 hours of work is fully utilised (meaning charged to specific clients), so some poor ppl may do OT but claim nothing too! it's a 'professional thingy'! anyway i read in 'today' tt arts n sci grads r really hitting it bad. so ahh.. better think more carefully abt wat u wanna do n how u r going to get there after u grad.. most of us stil have 1 yr mahh.. hopefully the economy will have picken up a little...
