 You are so right in it not being a fair trial. Geoff did underestimate public opinion in the Sarasota area. And he should have focused more maybe on Markus and his motive, means, and opportunity. But he saw that the forensic evidence showed that there was more than reasonable doubt and he expected the jury to vote on the evidence not public opinion like reasonable people. I wish we could have had another trial away from Sarasota. I know he would stand a better chance at winning. But it would be hard. Geoff is an outsider from the North and Ralf is a foreigner.
