The concept of reasonable doubt means nothing to people who have already made up their minds IMO. I wish that Geoff had done more with the Marcus angle (if indeed he is guilty) because I think any intelligent jury would have a hard time believing she wasn't killed by someone, and if Marcus had the motive and the opportunity it could have been him.

Perhaps then they could have found their reasonable doubt; but as I said before I believe they were pre-programmed, and the defense of her having a heart attack and falling down is a little tough to swallow considering the extent of her injuries.

I still don't understand why Geoff didn't focus on Marcus, unless he truly didn't think Marcus killed her. Anyway, it's time to focus on deportation and/or forcing an appeal if that's possible.
