George,

I have asked people to consider having a genuine conversation about Christ. I have addressed the road blocks to an effective and genuine conversation. Lois

Coming at the road blocks from a neutral plumb bob, what Christ actually taught, should allow us to reason one with another. However, what is occuring is vitriol.

How is it that calling one to use Christ's call in how we respond towards one another here, results in judgement? I figure that Bible believing Christans that are serious, should be humble enough to be reasoned with about His call?

Sounds like I am danged for trying to talk about Christ in any genuine form, the preference is to talk about how the Community of Christ is to blame for all your problems? Yet there is ZERO desire to get beyond that?

What positive, effective, purpose does effetively banging one's head against the wall serve in one's life. I am not suggesting any time frame for emotional mourning the loss of the church that once was. Instead pointing out that after a while it advesly affects one, it becomes pathology.

IMO witnessing for Christ, as He has called, is far more fullfilling than dwelling on that which one has no control over. It builds confidence, joy, when we are able to implement the fruits of the Spirit!

If we were able to talk about Jesus, in an effective manner, the light and love of Christ would shine. It builds trust among believers.

Is this not a worthy goal?

Yours in Christ,

Wally
