Anne Rice has become a crusader of sorts for the homophiliacs. (A homophiliac is as different from a homosexual as an Islamicist is from a Muslim.) If the homosexual subculture believed that her supposed depiction of them was inaccurate, they would be making a hue and cry to have publishers run her out of town for defaming them, with contradiction of their claim that they are "born that way." There were probably homosexuals in the CofC from day one. It was not until the radical homophiliac movement began, and the CofC unofficially adopted it, that homosexuality became a problem in the church. Yet, as always, those who object to radical homophilia are portrayed as hating all homosexuals. Incidentally, that's what how the radical Islamic terrorists are portraying those who go after them: as being at war with all Muslims.

Anne Rice made a big whoop-de-doo about "returning to the Catholic Church," and wrote some abysmal books based upon apocryphal gospels (which Roman Catholicism rejects.) The last I heard of her was last year when she announced on CNN that she was through with Christianity because it didn't regard homosexuality correctly. Her tirade reminded me of Sinead O'Connor publicly tearing up a picture of the Pope. I thought it strange that Rice's much publicized return from apostasy was so ballyhooed, but so short.

I'm not opposed to people reading Anne Rice's books, though. Their popularity among the "gay community" is the best expose of homosexual activism's self-contradiction.

George
