Looks like the church is going to need some more inspired counsel pretty soon, on which leftwinger to appoint to the vacant position. Isn't conference approval necessary to approve new appointments? I know it's just a rubber stamp, but Conference doesn't meet except in April, does it?

Like Nixon praying, "My fellow God...," the fearless dealer is going to have to approach the Almighty and ask him, "Dear One, I most humbly and respectfully insist that you voice your approval of the leftwing whacko I have already decided to appoint, because I've already told him he's got the position. In the name of whomever our theologians have decided is/are your offspring this week, Amen."
