Subject: Who Doesn't Get the Point?

Anyone who doesn't understand that deliberately ordaining avowed homosexuals (whether in secret or openly) is not the same as unknowingly ordaining practicing homosexuals stand up and say so.

I'll be happy to explain it to you.

The Red Herring argument:

"We don't know how many homosexuals are priests, or which one was the first to become a priest, because there are so many homosexuals in the closet whom the First Presidency does/did not have enough inspiration to recognize."

The correct answer would be "At this time there are[insert numeral here] avowed homosexuals holding valid ordination papers and ministering in the Community of Christ. We know there are that many, because we ordained them on purpose, because we considered it desirable to do so, regardless of what the rules and ordinances of the church state."

When someone gets their census form, where the question "What is your race?" appears, he does not answer:

"I don't know what my race is, because men have always been men, and women have always been women, and it is impossible for me to know which ones of my ancestors slept with whom over the last two hundred years."

Nor does he answer:

"I don't know what my race is, because I have a few ancestors who had confirmed good rhythm. Not only that, but over the last two hundred years, a lot of my ancestors pretended that I wasn't going to descend from them."
