Lois, the CofC, of course, is not the enemy. The real enemy is the marxist plot to degrade the U.S. until it is willing to accept communism. Every institution has to be infiltrated in order to do that. The CofC is just one of many that has been completely overwhelmed.

The scheme to legitimatize homosexuality is a major part of it. Years ago, the marxists conceded that Christians with robust faith would never accept communism. So the work was begun to "deChristianize" the U.S. The way to completely discredit the Christian god is to legitimatize homosexuality, since a lot of people find homosexuals likable people, just like anyone else, and are not able to separate the sin from the sinner. It is this success at equating the sin with the sinner that is put to use to declare God disgusting and hateful. The CofC, as ordered by the apostate revelations, was commanded by its ruling spirit to be "at the forefront" of such movements.
If the CofC were to disappear tomorrow, this problem would not go away.

Encouraging sin, and getting people hooked on it is a good way to separate them from God. After they learn to enjoy sinning, they simply will not give it up, and begin to resent God for telling them they should. So eventually they reject him as he is, and substitute their own cardboard, all-approving version of him instead.

In 1900, less than 6% of unmarried women had had sexual affairs. In this century, it is over 35%. They would not continue to do this if they did not think that it was right and acceptable.
