Mamusz, the more I read about Daimler's takeover of Chrysler, and its mismanagement of the company that lead directly to its current bankruptcy, I am reminded of the CofC leadership. They have spiritually sold out to nonRestoration interests that have nothing to do with Christ, interests which no more understand how Christianity works than German executives understand how to run an American car company.

Until the CofC can get some actual Restoration leadership in high office, in place of the leaders educated in leftwing liberal Protestant seminaries (and the current CofC attempt to clone those seminaries) the spiritual stock price of the CofC is going to fall until even the people who took it over out of greed will want to unload it on someone else, just as Daimler did Chrysler after Juergen Schremp wrecked it being the Bull of the Woods.

Chrysler was wrecked by executives who wanted to "merge" it with a big foreign interest which ended up taking it over as a division, not as the vaunted "merger of equals." And that's what has happened to the CofC. It has wanted to "merge" with liberal Protestantism to expand into global markets, but there is no merger. The CofC is going to be taken over by leadership who care absolutely nothing about the RLDS faith, and who can't wait to get rid of it and replace it with something else.

When John gets a negative reaction to his attempts at evangelism, he is like Kirk Kervorkian looking at his falling stock portfolio. John, like Kirk, has invested heavily in an outfit that is run by liars and thieves, and the bottom has dropped out.
