They are getting ready to celebrate the 175th anniversary of Kirtland Temple. Gee, strange, do they really own it since they weren't even a church until 1860 and Joseph Smith III? 175 years ago it was 1836 and Joseph Smith Jr. was president.

What gives?

The public is invited to a special service commemorating the 175th anniversary of the dedication of the Kirtland Temple, Sunday morning, March 27, 2011. This service will be hosted by the Community of Christ Historic Sites Foundation and Kirtland Community of Christ Congregation. Doors open at 10:00 a.m. and the service begins at 10:30 a.m. This is a ticketed event; please call Kirtland Temple Visitor Center at 440-256-1830.
