Yes, Lois, they'll wax so eloquent about their Latter Day Saint Traditions, and their identity with the 1830 church, and then get the NCC on the phone the next day and pretend that none of the festivities ever happened. Then, if that doesn't work, they'll say that the CofC officials who participated did not do so as part of their job description, and that what the members of the First Presidency say about the origins of the church at a public worship service is only their personal opinions and has nothing to do with the CofC.

The CofC's public announcements are like a Star Trek episode. Just take the little wheel out and spin it. Find out if it points to "He's dead, Jim," or "Fascinating," so the dialogue for the next formula script can be written. It's Wheel of Fortune every time they have to decide which prefabricated lie to use this week.

And John posts comments that anyone who disagrees with the CofC is a liar. The CofC makes liars out of everybody, looking at it that way, because the CofC's comments and official positions change so often that the people who agreed with them yesterday probably don't agree with the official position today. Thus, the people who were declared "truthers" and friends of the Church yesterday are declared "liars" and enemy combatants today.

George
