Palpatine seems unphased by the man's unexpected offer to join him. He rises to his feet, "I will consider your offer. Adam." He turns, escorted by his guards, and leaves. Storm remains standing a few paces away from Adam, expression as placid as before. As soon as Palpatine leaves, she snaps, "Well, Adam, if you feel that way, maybe I could arrange for you and Jade here to go out on a Dinner Date. I'm sure Mara would be so happy for your company." she laughs, a harsh, hissing laugh that lacks any humor.

Mara hisses softly between clenched teeth, glaring hatefully at the younger girl. "Careful, Darkmoon. Daddy may want you alive, but he didn't specify unharmed."

Storm turns to her grinning wickedly, "Ooh, jealous, Mara? I thought you were above that."
