The free agent deadline is the end of the regular season. There will be a final free agent draft the Tuesday after week 14, only available to playoff teams.

And as for the benching starters... Scam? Yes. But lying and putting in my starters anyway? No. I just figured I had a better chance of getting 5 rhits with my back-ups than you do of getting 0 rhits with your starters. Both are longshots, but what are you gonna do? So, sure it was a bit of gamesmanship, but I wouldn't lie about who I was starting. So, the big boys will have to hit the field for me in week 14, and hopefully Priest Holmes will miss the team bus, and get benched while LaDainian Tomlinson oversleeps the game following a wild night of playing bridge with Junior Seau.

- Well, Kurt's team would have probably broken 400 under the old scoring system. I'm not sure how my team under this scoring system would be affected. I doubt Warner was affected by QB rushing, and defense was worth a bit more back then. Maybe I'll check into it. (NT) -- Chooch, 16:41:16 12/04/02 Wed
