Subject: awakening... Author: Ryujin [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 16:32:21 01/01/02 Tue Both Ryujin X and Protoman X had been unconscious in the main lab at Maverick Hunters HQ. RX had been infected with the sigma virus and PX had a fatal paradoxal programming error. The shock of everything was too much for him to bear so his systems went into a comatose state to try and preserve his programming. There was no change in the 2 for almost a week now. Until suddenly... RX began to come about...he opened his eyes and sat up holding his head... RX: Ugh...wha...where am I? what happened? A reploid scientist turned around in shock... RS: Wha!!?? No WAY! Commputer this is main lab, we have a situation, inform Signas at ONCE!! RX has woken up! The Hunter on the other end relayed the message.. H: Roger that, main Lab. Signas has been informed and is on his way. Over and out!. RX turned around as he began to realise where he was and what had happened. RX: No....NOOOOOOOO!!!..what..what have I done??? PX!! Damnit! Damnit!!!!!! Sigma....YOU!! You'll pay for this!! Signas entered the room along with a security team. Signas: RX....I'm going to have to ask you to co-operate with us...you've been infected with the Sigma virus...you're..a Maverick! RX: Huh?..I see...but..there is no need...I'm no longer infected.. Signas: Proposterous! do you seriously expect us to beleive you!!? RX: Hmm...well I suppose not...very well...do your tests...but I already know the result.. Signas: We'll see....... RS: The testing area is ready sir! Signas: Very well, test him for the virus and see how much it has progressed. RX stepped into a room which was sealed with a large automatic door. Sensor beams began eminating from small lenses on the walls. The scanned him up and down several times... The readouts began comming on the main monitor for all in the main lab to see.. RS: Impossible!!!! There is absolutely no trace of the Sigma virus! Signas: WHAT!!??...there must be some mistake..scan again! (signas scowled) RS: Yes sir! The scanners started up again and the same data came up as the first time. Signas: So..it..really IS true! almost hard to believe! RS: But the data does not lie...some how he shows no traces of the sigma virus..in fact..by these readings he is actually in better shape than when he originally WENT on the space mission! Signas paused for a moment... Signas: Very well...open the chamber and let him out... Signas stood quietly thinking... S: (hmm...this is all very puzzleing...most of his internal workings are still a mystery to us...what secrets do you hide under that armour Ryujin X? You are the 1st reploid ever to have recovered from the sigma virus of your own accord...as unbelieveable as this seems...perhaps you hold the key to winning this war?....) RX walked out of the door and stared up at Signas.. RX: Satisfied? S: Ryujin X...it seems you were correct...I'd like you to stay for some more tests but you can..return to duty as soon as you wish and we can- Suddenly RX cut him off RX: No...I'm leaving..I quit the Hunters..I am no longer under your duristiction or command... Signas: what? why? RX: All I bring is trouble..anywhere I go...thats whay I've been alone most of my existence, but this is worse than anything I could have imagined....Look at Proto! I did this! and Alea!(that was her name yeah?) This is all my fault...I'm leaving before I cause any more trouble... Signas: But wait! RX began to walk off with his back turned towards Singas as he walked out the door he said.. RX: Believe me, you and this war would be better off without me..besides I have something else on my mind at the moment...Sigma! Signas: You plan to fight him alone!!? You'll be killed for sure! RX: Well just see about that...farewell.. And at that RX dashed off towards the exit before Signas even had a chance to respond.. Signas: Damn...you don't know how wrong you are... To be continued...
