IO was incredibly powerful. His power system was unlike any the world had ever known. But, even he needed to take the time to rest once in a while. It was here, in a wooded forest nestled deep in the Alps where he found a place to rest. There were no lights around this area for many miles. Nature was allowed to flourish in this place. It must have been part of an ecological preserve? Perhaps. In any case, IO knew he would be alone, so he found a heavy branch, and lie down to rest on it. He would find Signas in the morning. He stayed in defense mode, but closed down his active drive system, and entered sleep mode.
It is an interesing phenomena that Reploids dream. They are given a consciousness via artificial intelligence. They think for themselves. Dreaming though, is only a function of the organic brain. But, somewhere, hidden deep in the digital psyke, repressed memories....hidden data...is waiting to emerge. It was due to this phenomena that IO found himself in the middle of a dream...(to be continued)
