Subject: What surprises might CC have in store? (Spoilers for Season 8 eps that have already aired.)

One thing we X-Philes have learned over the years is that CC likes to challenge our assumptions about what we *THINK* we know about the main characters' personal lives. Examples of this included the discovery of Mrs. Skinner (after three seasons in which, as Scully so eloquently put it "We didn't even know he was married!"); Scully's discovery of Emily and Scully's pregnancy revelation at the end of "Requiem"; not to mention, of course, the on-going "Who is Mulder's father?" debate that has ranged for years. He also likes to "hint" more than reveal things; (prime example: "all things").
So. . .what might we find out about some of our main characters during season eight? I've come up with three possible scenarios, which I've ranked in order of how likely they seem. These contain speculation only; none are based on spoiler knowledge.
1.) We'll discover that Mulder and Scully have been married to each other since sometime late in season seven. I really think this one is fairly plausible. There is that mysterious two-day lapse to be explained during the events of "Requiem" and just the whole way they were behaving toward each other during the last few eps.
2.) We'll discover that Dogsbreath is married. Everybody seems to be operating under the assumption that since all the previous agents who worked in the X-Files (Mulder, Scully, Arthur Dales, Jeff Spender and Fowl Thing) were single, Dogsbreath is, too. And there's certainly been no mention of him having a wife. Remember, however, that Sharon Skinner was never mentioned before we actually saw her, either. If he's not currently married, we might at least discover he's a divorced father who still has contact with (and maybe feelings for?) his ex-wife.
3.) We'll get a hint that Dogsbreath just *MIGHT* be gay. While I think this is less likely than either of the two other scenarios I mentioned, it's a possibility. Unlike a marriage revelation, I doubt this the kind of thing they'd actually come right out and say. It would probably be even more ambiguous than the bedroom scene between Mulder and Scully in "all things"; just a case of Mulder and/or Scully dropping by Dogsbreath's apartment and finding another man there who Dogsbreath introduces as "My, um, friend" or something of that nature.
Any other ideas?
