This is for the ep airing this Sunday, Dec. 3...there's a Luke Doggett going to be in it according to the Haven. That's all I know, and he's played by Jake Fritz whoever the heck that is.
As for Doggett being gay...LOL! I wouldn't mind if they had a gay character, I'm all for their making the xf world a little more normal--Scully and Fowley are not the only female FBI agents. Doggett just doesn't fit that, and I think that because they didn't just make it known if he was, if they just decided to do that it would cause some odd uproar with some and others would rejoice in the knowledge he wouldn't put the moves on S. I think that if he all of a sudden came out the show would turn into something it's not, a political statement, just like it is not about the MSR, it's about scary stories and aliens. The MSR has become an essential part, but it isn't there to make a statement. If they introduced a gay character it should be done as in 'all things.' Colleen was just 'there,' she wasn't singled out for anything. It would be funny if he had to introduce an 'umfriend' though. If CC introduces a new female character and has JD gay, it'd be his way of avoiding any new romance between partners, he could have his little platonic partner world!

M&S being married: Nothing would surprise me now, not even JD having a boyfriend. I'm positive they were 'together' in S7, maybe they talked marriage or even got engaged, during those 2 missing days in Req. For some reason I don't think CC would have them be married yet (read: *yet* I'm with you, Islandgirl, that I think they should get married). But who knows you may be right! Maybe JD will do some sneaking around and discover a marriage license hidden somewhere!
