Well, now that NO ONE is on her side, I feel the need to defend her. I mean, she knows Mulder better than anyone in the world. And he's never seemed bothered with her abrupt presentation before. Maybe as part of the bond they share, where they cut through all the bullshit, she told it to him like it was. Told him straight without any fluff or platitudes. I have to trust her judgment when it comes to him (and his when it comes to her) since they obviously understand each other better than the rest of us ever will.
