They do that all the time on this stupid soap I watch. They'll introduce a new character and he'll be real nasty and rotten and then later he is suddenly redeemed and we are expected to like him.

I don't think we are meant to dislike Mrs. Mulder as much as others such as Fowley. After all she's Mulder's mom. CC might be surprised to find out she's not very popular. I think we're just supposed to look upon Teena as this woman who unwittingly got involved in a situation largely beyond her control and we should feel sorry for her because her daughter was taken away. But Mulder's the one I feel sorry for for the pain she's helped put him through. The only reason I don't dislike her as much as the evil characters is just because she is his mother. Poor Mulder. :-(

det, who watched some of Harsh Realm but then lost interest. Bring on the Gunmen spin off! That will be more fun! (I hope). ;-)
