I agree with you. In fact, in retrospect, I'm beginning to think how sad if these two have not joined in sexual intercourse and experienced their shared happiness. Esp. after their closeness and openness this season, and after their previous 6 years together.

It might be just what CC wants us to think. But it still goes back to what I, and others, have said about Scully's reaction as she tells Skinner the awesome news. An old arguement, I know, and I'm sure everyone is getting tired of it, but I've watched the scene a dozen times and I feel like her reaction and choice of words tells it all. If it were immaculate conception or an alien implantation pregnancy surely her reaction would have been different. She seems just too happy and awed by the pregnancy for it to have been conceived in any way other than "natural" means. I for one, knowing how CC loves to fill in the facts with off-camera knowledge, will really be unhappy if it turns out she has been seeing an ob-gyn specialist because of whatever maybe happened to her in EnAmi and/or the return of ovulation and menstruation, thus allowing her to get pregnant, and I will gladly lead a virtual effigy-hanging of CC. Hopefully CC won't "fool" us by changing or adding to the past. But, yes I can say "flash-back". lol

Has there been a discussion of maybe CSM only had the chip removed from Scully instead of other procedures performed on her? But that would cause cancer again, wouldn't it? Surely CC won't go there again.

Yep, I'm thinking it will be a normal human baby but in a Gibson-way of having special specific brain differences. Man, have the writers got a task ahead of them in any case. It'll be interesting to see where they go with all this.

Can't say I'm really interested either, in only 8 episodes with DD. Like I said, the writers really are going to be pressed to come up with eps to hold my interest..
