I was convinced that Scully at least thinks the baby is Mulder's based on that last scene but someone on the mailing list I'm on said Chris Owens talked to the makeup lady on the show. Accordin to this person he is still in contact with people from the crew. The story goes that the original scene ended with Scully saying she had to find Mulder and them GA saying "that's it?". And CC who was on set that day said no, "THIS is it" and gave her the added diakog with the pregnancy line.

This is very puzzling because it would mean GA's reading of line "I have to", which seemed to suggest she had an extra special reason to want to find him wouldn't mean anything since GA didn't know about the pregnancy addition when she performed the first part of the scene.

To note, Autumn Tysko doesn't believe this person's story. She says GA played the entire scene as if Scully believed it was Mulder's.

I suppose it's possible director Kim Manners knew about the ending and instructed GA to play the scene a certain way. Or maybe GA asked to redo the scene once she knew the full story. People are worried CC is pulling another Gethsemane with this!

I don't think CSM would want Scully's cancer to return. He really liked her and I don't think he wants her to die.

I wonder if DD's 8 eps are part of the ones he will write/direct? That would be good if we had some DD written stories for non Mulder eps so at least his presence would be felt.
