I enjoyed this episode. It wasn't mind blowing, but nor was it rubbishy. There was a lot of nice M & S interaction too. Det will like it, I suspect, because there is M & S interaction, at a distance, via amusing phone calls. The chimera in question, when she was acting like a house wife, was actually quite perceptive about Mulder and his situation. It had one of 'those' conversations: (I paraphrase)
Woman: "Do you have a partner? A significant other?"
Mulder: "Not in any every day accepted meaning of the term"
Woman: "Don't miss out on family and children, Mr Mulder. They are precious"

Well - yes. I suspect that S7 is heading us down those particular roads. I seem to see a very clever and gradual development towards a more declared relationship between M & S. As a non-shipper and fence sitting bod, even I have to admit that I see those signs. It seems that everyone they meet is conspiring to put them in the same camp.

There were some good moments in this ep - although I didn't really understand why the woman had to transform into a hairy Incredible Hulk type. I think her anger was enough to send her over the edge as a woman! ;-)
