I wonder what they call "torches" in England?

So those big things with a huge lit fire on the end of them that people in movies carry around in dark caves looking for monsters or whatever. What are those called there?

I hope Scully had a big tetanus (sp?) shot after this! I think Scullly is the one keeping the relationship at bay right now. Her attitude seems to be, 'you're not Mulder so leave me alone!'
