Subject: Something that just occurred to me

Okay, I'll admit to being a little slow on the uptake, since it took me almost four months (since "Requiem" first aired) to make this connection, but better late than never, right?
You know how CC is *ALWAYS* fending off comparisons between "The X-Files" and "Moonlighting"?? Yet has anybody noticed that the events of "Requiem" — with Scully being pregnant, but viewers unsure of who the father is — closely parallel those of the final eps of one of the seasons of "Moonlighting"?
When Maddie got pregnant, viewers were left to wonder — all summer — whether the baby was David's or that of Maddie's old boyfriend, Sam. Now viewers of "XF" have been left to wonder — all summer — whether Scully's baby is the result of doing the naked pretzel with Mulder or is the result of some kind of experimentation done on her.
Deja vu, anyone?
