Bounty Hunter sure might get around mightn't he? A good theory. At least one we haven't heard before. But really I think she was never really totally barren and Mulder and Scully conceived the kid after the movie in JS.

S8 conversation
The big reunion between M and S
S[in Mulder's arms] "Mulder there is something I have to tell you."
M [holding onto to S for dear life] "Save your breath Scully till we can get out of this mess. "
S "NO, Mulder, this can't wait. I have to tell you"
M"What?"
S "I'm pregnant."
M [amazed] "What?"
S "I'm pregnant, Mulder. I'm having a baby. "
M[perplexed]"But Scully you can't."
S"Apparently I can Mulder and I am. "
M " But how could it have happened?"
S "Well you should know Mulder, you were there."
M "But when , Scully, when? I don't understand"
S"I have just one word for you Mulder. Caddyshack."
M ' aaahhh' as a look of comprehension comes over his face.

But who is to say that it didn't happen after they took a leaf out of the book of the undead and ate, drank, danced and made love in Hollywood?
I think the birth will be the S8 cliff hanger. I can't see her giving birth during the season.
