After reading Chantal's, Stardoe's and Rab-id's responses it seems like we have all seen the sme thing and asked the same questions. I somehow don't think that BH is the father--the impression I got from the look he gave Mulder was that the baby was no surprise to him (BH) ande that he knew Mulder was the father--that M was SUPPOSED to be the father. As for the lake scene--I just know that the boat Scully used had a small motor on it (didn't look to be more than a 20 hp one) and that it took her a while to get to where she had to go. I didn't see any other boat there with a larger motor on it and that is why I think there had to be involvement with BH to pull this whole thing off.

Another thought--CSM wasn't healthy enough to humanly pull off the job which makes me wonder if he could have metamorphosized into some sort of a *demonic* being. In Closure, there was a walkin that looked a lot like a young version of CSM (actually Spender) so my question might have to be "who really is this creep (CSM) now?" Did he become possessed or actually replaced with a shape-shifting demon (devil?) That could also explain his ability to get across the water so quickly as I highly doubt that he can walk on water (if indeed the BH was nowhere to be found in this ep.) Either that or it was BH all along who used Scully to get to the CD and kill the guy who had the information. BH has used people before to do his leg-work for him. Anybody?
