Subject: The old cross debate revisited [requiem spoilers]

I watched Req tonight and this time I must say that I definitely saw a zipper hanging from the middle of Mulder's jacket where a zipper pull thingy should be. BUT!!!!!!I also cannot mistake a silver chain hanging around his neck as well. I saw this last time and insisted that he was wearing the[a] cross or whatever. We know now that it wasn't THE cross but I'm sure that a SILVER chain snaked around his neck and something looked to be hanging from it. Now I could have been tired but I played and rewound a million times and I could almost swear that in the scenes with the chain , Mulder is wearing a different top kind of more like a plain high neck jumper. When I can definitely make out the zipper pull he is definitely wearing a zip up jumper type top.
I may be seeing things but this really needs more scrutiny if anyone is obsessed enough with this now knowing it isn't THE cross. Someone with 4 or 6 heads on their VCR who can get a clear still picture. Just before Mulder puts his hand int he red lines I am sure there is a chain. Just before he joins the circle of light there is a chain....with something hanging from it maybe a bit lower than where the zipper pull should be. In the scene where Mulder puts the red torch thingy on the ground he is definitely wearing the zip up jumper and you can see the zipper pull as plain as day.

I really think CC might be having a lend of us here. Could he be that obsessed with confusing us that he deliberately changed Mulder's top and/or placed and unplaced and chain around his neck? At one stage the chain looks like it is outside the jumper. At another time it looks like it is hanging over the front of the jumper. This is where it is hard to tell if it's the zipper or a pendant /cross /whatever. But at other times the difference is distinctive. Anyone interested enough to to do some scrutinizing to see if I am in fact either really clever or just hallucinating???

Stardoe, now officially in the future at 1:00am 1-1-01[we have day light saving so 12am isn't really the new year. ]
