Well I think DD definately had an influence on Mulder's apparel starting in season 6 when we started seeing more t-shirts, jeans and sweatpants (not that I'm complaining!) and he could have influenced this too. But the sweater he had on in part of this was just weird! It didn't look like something that either DD or Mulder would wear. Maybe DD's mother-in-law knitted it for him! I think part of it with the jacket at the end was so they could easily film the snake scene with the snakes crawling out. Ooh, I'm creeping out here! I'd better stop!

No if Scully is some kind of divine being, and I hope she isn't, I don't think she would be aware of it. I don't mean that she was or wasn't afraid of the snakes (remember her snake experience in the One Breath flashback?) but in the scene where the guy stuck her face up against the snake cage weren't they avoiding her? Or maybe they just couldn't get to her.

Devlin I hope you all aren't going to wait until you see both eps of the two parter to talk about them. hint hint ;-) The first part, Sein und Zeit, is quite interesting on its own.
